We were in one of the Safari Tents, so we had the best of all worlds, privacy, a very good quality 'tent' and access to the shop, and the restaurant. Obviously in a small camp the restaurant was slightly limited in range, but the choices were very good. The food was well cooked, fresh and well presented, by the very... More

We had a great weeks stay at the campsite in early December. The campsite is a lot smaller than other camps further south, which made it all the nicer! The ablutions are well kept and clean and the restaurant and shop are great. The best part is the hide overlooking a small water hole at the campsite - we had... More

This is always the first camp we stay at when we visit the Kruger. While the camp is small it has a well stocked watering hole and acceptable accommodation. The staff were really friendly and our waiter for the two evenings we went to dinner at the small restaurant was super friendly and accommodating. He remembered us from the last... More

This was one of the 4 restcamps we stayed in beside Shingwedzi, Pretoriuskop and Skukuza. We had a BG2 Bungalow for 2 persons. Lock your doors. if you camp there use padlocks on every box. If not the monkeys will open then and make a giant mess. The shop and restaurant are small but decent. Prices are reasonable. The good:... More

The tents ate get and were cool at night even at temperatures of 38' during the day. The drive to Pafuri is awesome and the beauty of the area astounding. The camp has some maintenance issues. Lights not working and mosquito netting not replaced. This would really improve the overall experience

Rooms had air conditioning which was a blessing. Also the pool was a blessing as we went in December when temperatures were +33 degrees. A nice feature was the little kitchen with all your basic cutlery/crockery. The little shop provided everything you would need. Pity, there was no wifi.

The bungalows at Punda Maria are comfortable with en suite bathroom, fridge and air conditioning. There is a convenient communal cooking/bbq area and a swimming pool. However, the pool was less than adequately maintained with murky water. There is a spacious game viewing platform adjacent to the huge camping area, overlooking the waterhole, which offers good opportunities. Overall, a well... More

The camping area has about 50 sites most with power and some without power. The power points can be very far from the actual camp site and so an extension of at least 30 meters is strongly recommended. There are two ablution blocks, very well maintained and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a waterhole and viewing... More

We enjoyed our stay in a little room number 8 Original looking huts. Simple, clean & functional inside. Rest camp area was well utilised. Food and service at the restaurant were delightful. Nice swimming pool. Good hill run to start the day 😄
