We first stayed at this Lodge some four years ago; we had a wonderful time then & the second time around was just as good. It's an intimate private Lodge on a concession within the world famous Kruger Park, & the service & quality of accommodation was exemplary. We booked late & took advantage of a Special Rate through MT... More

The lodge is very adequately described elsewhere - and it is thoroughly charming. All of the staff were magnificent and it felt like a real team effort. The food was excellent and the camaraderie with other guests very enjoyable. We went with our 3 daughters (18,15,11) and they are desperate to return (proving that kids can live without wi-fi!). This... More

There are plenty of gizmos, gadgets and Disney type world's out there focused on kids sole source of happiness... But as a mom trying to instill an appreciation and love of Africa into my children I thank God for little gems like Rhino Post who with their tvless and WiFi less piece of Africa, I could ignite that passion for... Rhino Post is a safari place that does resort. This lodge doesn't have fences, meaning that the animals can roam through the place. We had giraffes, many antelope, and a lion come through in the 2 days we were there. So if you want a more refined resort-type of place, this might be too much for you. The layout does... More

I only booked Rhino Post because all of the camps in the area were full, and I'm glad they were! The lodge is tasteful, small and cozy, with super, super friendly staff. Just 8 rooms/16 people so very private and quiet -- on the other hand because of the game drives and meals at communal tables all guests mingle very... More

Rhino post is a gorgeous lodge posted overlooking a river bed where many different animals frequent. The lodge itself is tasteful and simple, which helps it blend with the surroundings. It feels very natural in its setting. The bar is situated by the fire overlooking the watering hole, which lets you watch wildlife while having a cocktail. We had a... More

Rhino Post is really lovely. They seem to strive towards eco-friendly with low lighting..etc. The rooms are stationary tents with a wonderful view of the river and private patio. Loved the deep claw foot bathtub. Our guide was Joey who was fun and enthusiastic. Some of the most enjoyable times on the game drives was looking at the incredible African... More

Dear Julieann Thank you very much for the lovely feedback. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. I would like to apologise for the food being not up to its usual standard, as well as the staff tension which you picked up on. Firstly, the food: Our Executive Chef was on honeymoon and our Sous Chef was... More

This was by far the best hotel/ experience of our trip. The hotel is small so we felt like it was our own personal safari lodge. The rooms combine a rustic feel with luxury amenities perfectly. The game drives are so much fun. We loved our guide (thanks Colin!) and couldn't wait to go on the drives twice a day.... More

Wonderful location, in front of a river bed, lovely decoration, cosy atmosphere. Excellent kitchen, wine cellar, fabulous and spacious accomodation with verandahs facing the river bed. One doesn't need to worry which room/tent to chose as they all face the river bed. Very good on safety. Excellent staff, from management to kitchen. A must return.

This little lodge is a gem . Beautifully situated on a river bank and nestled in between the trees. The accommodation is half tent / half room with an outside shower and a big indoor bath overlooking the river . Even though there are no curtains , your room is private and generally you are rising well before the sun... More
