The Rhino Post Safari lodge was our 2nd safari while in South Africa. How amazing to enter the property and gaze across the dry river bed to the watering hole and see a small group of Cape Buffalo just hanging around. That was the beginning of our animal adventure. The management and staff were attentive and knowledgeable. I enjoyed listening... More

We stayed two nights and three days at Rhino Post Lodge and had an amazing time and experience both at the lodge and at the Safari. The staff was friendly and caring. Our guide Bonga was exceptionally knowledgeable and took us across the jungle to show the Africa's Big 5 - Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhinos, Buffalo, African Wild Dogs, Hippos,... More

Me and my family of 7 stayed here for 3 nights and it was amazing! The rooms are super comfortable, beautiful outdoor shower, bath and a very comfortable bed. The balcony off each room is great for a drink and watching the animals at the watering hole! On our first evening, the team took us into the bush for a... More

We were able to appreciate Rhino Post more having just spent 2 nights at Kambaku in Timbavati. If we had come here first we would not have enjoyed our stay so much. Rhino Post is well into Kruger Park, and one has to drive in and out on a terrible road. which also has to be travelled on for each... More

Dear gwgMimsFlorida Thank you very much for your lovely review. Bonga is a great guide, but I would like to clarify that the other guide returned slightly earlier from drives on the request of his guests. Unless otherwise requested all guests have the same driving opportunities. We have had some teething issues with the new satelite telephone system (which is... More

We started 2016 at Rhino Post Safari Lodge.....! Our third visit and as amazing as ever! Really had a good time with spectacular sightings. Joey went out of his way showing us everything and I mean...everything! ( Saw 56 lions in the two days we were there ) We recommend Rhino Post Safari Lodge to everybody....you will never be disappointed!

We stayed 2 nights here as part of 6 days in the Kruger/Sabi Sands area. This was by far our favorite place! Absolutely loved the natural feel and the small place. The staff greet you by name from the start. Joey was our guide and his knowledge and passion for the animals and ecosystem is evident! He shared so much... More

We stayed three nights at Rhino Post Safari Lodge and had, by far, our best safari experience to date at Kruger. Our guide, Bonga, was incredible and his love and passion for animals was evident. He knew everything! Not just about the "big five" or the other more popular animals, but he knew every bird, antelope, tortoise, mammal, etc. that... More

Were attracted by the idea of a walking safari as opposed to just riding around in vehicles. Spent one night at Rhino Post lodge which was lovely and did 2 game drives with Joey. They were ok but not as informative as we would have liked. He seemed more interested in social chit chat with whoever was sitting in the... More

We stayed three nights at the Plains Camp. Did not quite understand that walking safari meant actively tracking and walking up to black rhinos and lions! Quite the adrenaline rush. Such an intimate way to feel close to the bush. No Landrover can compare. Quite different from the super-luxe lodges. Like being in your African uncle's private tent camp. Nothing... More

Dear Helgu Thank you very much for the lovely feedback of Plains Camp at Rhino Walking Safaris. Walking safaris and driven safaris are quite different as you say, so always a good idea to combine the two. We were delighted to have the opportunity to share this special experience with you. Kind regards Nikki More
