We stayed at Narina Lodge. Oh wow what an experience. What an amazing setting. Our room was just beautiful, I could have stayed there forever and never ventured out. Sven and the staff were just so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them and the food was amazing. Our safari guides Isaac and Johan (Shorty) were just the... More

With only nine rooms that are separated from each other by a considerable distance along the banks do the Sabi River, Tinga Lodge gives both a real sense of splendid isolation and absolute luxury. The rooms - more houses really - are massive and exceptionally well appointed. The views are to die for! Watching a huge herd of elephants working... More

I've never written about Tinga but I can assure you it's a fantastic lodge that I've been to three times. From memory, they also run Narina and a few others which I have stayed at. Each is different in their own way. The food here is excellent from the chef Patrick and the rooms are amazing.

I don't know how it could get any better. The lodge was amazing. It's part of Lion Sands in Kruger National Park. The rooms were amazing, probably 600-700 square feet, over looking the Sabi River. Bathrooms were just incredible. There are only 9 individual rooms. Dinner is outside around a huge fire. The game drives, with ranger and tracker, were... More

We came with expectations of comfort and adventure. For me the highlight was not the rhinos, elephants, buffalo, hippos, lions, birds, antelope, warthogs, monkeys, baboons etc etc, but the hunt for the leopard. The first illusive sighting, the chase and then the moment, fleeting and then it was gone. Lucky to get one shot. The safari team (A Team) Raymond... More

Stayed 2 nights at Tinga Lodge. One of the best Safari lodge experience. It is very well located just 5 mins from Skuuzuza air strip but you do not feel this. There is hardly any airplane noise. It looks and feel like a big property but there are only 10 to 12 rooms so max you will ever see would... More

Totally exception and memorable experience. On the banks of the sabi river, dead quiet at night only the sounds of the wild animals and gushing river. this is the way you want to experience the Kurger. Top class establishment with exceptional sightings on game drives.

A wonderful luxurious resort. The rooms were spacious, well laid out and immaculately clean over looking the Sabi River. The restaurant /bar service was excellent , the food was wholesome, varied and delicious all over seen by the warm, welcoming Loudrey. Jason & Emanuel our safari guides were amazing, their vast knowledge and respect for the animals and this beautiful... More

The Tinga Lodge and staff are first rate. The service was impeccable, rooms comfortable and almost luxurious. Very roomy rooms. Loved the personal plunge pool! The view was awesome from every room and all parts of the lodge. The open air feel made you feel like you were living outside. The game drivers and spotters were courteous and friendly, as... More

Traveled here with my family for a safari around Kruger. The villas are stunning and you can see an unbelievable amount of wildlife just from your back porch. Each of our villas had a plunge pool which was a fantastic touch as well. The service was on point and the food was fantastic. They take care of your every need.... More
