Phalaborwa gate of Kruger went extremely smooth. All our bookings were done in advance via internet and we were pleasantly surprised at the fast and friendly service at the gate. At Letaba camp we were also greeted with friendly staff and the booking admin went fast. The campsites are not clearly demarcated which was a bit of a frustration. We... More

It was our first visit up there, the staff was friendly the rooms was clean we stayed in the guest cottage, and it was fantastic. The weather was nice and hot, it was nice to sit and relax at restaurant and look on to the elephants river.

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed - not just with the majestic surroundings, but by the warm and friendly way we were welcomed. Our self-catering unit was basic - as they are in Kruger - but spotless and equipped with everything we needed. The views of the riverbed were fantastic, the pool sparkling and we enjoyed a delicious... More

When staying over or just passing through, a must to see is the Elephant Museum Beautiful pictures of the Great ones from the park and very informative The children enjoyed it a lot. So glad the park is maintaining this facility and informing the public.

Letaba rest camp is a tranquil oasis in the middle of the Kruger. We found it more to our liking than Skukuza, because is it more laid back. Not a knock against Skukuza, which is the main camp in Kruger. Stayed here 4 night in November 2015. Pros: Nice, affordable restaurant even caters to vegetarians Well marked layout, nicely maintained... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Letaba beside the river. The bungalow was comfortable with more than adequate kitchen facilities. We were really delighted to find a laundrette and a well equipped shop on site. We did a night safari which was most enjoyable. The guide was first class and knew where to find the night animals including a large... More

We drove in a four door saloon rental. Not a big 4x4 or jeep thing. Any car is fine. Some roads are tarmac and some gravel tracks, nothing awkward, steep or tricky. We left Berg-en Dal at 05:10 and arrived at Letaba at 16:30. En-route we stopped at Olifant for a superb lunch with stunning view from the restaurant hill... More

As days visitors, we enjoyed our stop at Letaba for a rest and a drink while overlooking the river. Looks like a nice camp to stay in, as are all the other rest camps we visited in Kruger. A good place to look out for the strange-looking Marabout storks

Neat, tidy and clean accommodation with a lovely views. Bungalow was well maintained with amble cutlery, crockery and kitchen supplies. Very comfortable especially with the heatwave the aircon was wonderful. Pool area was beautiful too. Really lovely atmosphere with friendly staff that are always willing to help with a smile. Really good value for your money!
