A fantastic stay in basic self-catering accommodation with just everything that was needed. And what was needed was a good bed, a good shower and a grill. All of that was sparkling clean and very comfortable. As for the rest, well, you'd put up with a lot less for the charms of Kruger.

Letaba is a beautiful camp. One of the best in Kruger. There are large trees everywhere. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Restaurant is good and front walkway is great for evening strolls. My kids loved the elephant museum.

Letaba is one of my favourite rest camps! Do not expect 5 star rooms - this is real basic, but everything you need is there (plus you should be driving, swimming, visiting the elephant hall etc!). The rooms are kept super CLEAN and the staff are always friendly. The surrounding area is one of the best for game viewing and... More

This was a nice rest camp with full amenities including vehicle fuel, camping supplies, restaurant, and souvenirs. The bungalow had a good flush toilet but it took a LONG time to get hot water for a shower. The bungalow was "baboon proof" to a large degree. There were two twin beds in the bungalow. The M&B restaurant and camp store... More

We stayed in a two-person safari tent which was comfortable and convenient. The ablutions are always clean. We were again a very large family party, and the camp made the day-visitors site available for our supper/braai and evening get-together, so that we could socialise in comfort and without disturbing the other guests. This is excellent, considerate service. The camp is... More

Late is a terrific rest camp; arguably the best in the Kruger Park. It's in good condition and well-maintained. The restaurant - now a Mugg & Bean – is a welcome improvement on its predecessor. The camp has a well-stocked shop with a good range of merchandise including fresh produce. There is also an elephant museum, which is interesting and... More

Letaba Rest Camp is one of the best places to stay in the kruger if you want to see the wild life. among the animals we saw: cheetahs, leopard, southern ground hornbill, civets (at night), spotted hyena, and many more antelopes, elephants, giraffes, birds and so on

Situated next to the river. Hippo's grazing next to the fence at night. Elephants visible crossing the river. Superb view of sunrise & sunset. Stayed in Safari tent. Very comfortable beds, with linen, blankets & towels provided.

Letaba being one of the bigger camps in the Kruger National Park is nice to stay, when you reserve a chalet as close as possible to the river. The big trees are nice to sit in the shade having breakfast in front of your chalet or the near by restaurant. Relax and enjoy the more or less resident bush bucks... More
