Camped at Letaba for a couple of nights over the Easter period and it was busy, but great. Campsites are maintained well and kept clean, same with the ablutions. Found a nice spot along the perimeter fence where you have a view into the bush beyond the fence. It is a big(ish) camp with some lovely views over the Letaba... More

When booking a ctt4 safari tent, try book #4. It is fence facing and the one on the end furthest from the swimming pool. The most private of them. Very neat, clean and good quality linen. Pay R60 more for these instead of the ctt2 tents which are more central in the camp, in order to sleep next to resident... More

The restcamp is located on the banks of the Letaba River. Generally, the camp is well-located, with easy access from Phelabora Gate. There is also easy access to the Mozambique Border gate. The camp itself is large, and very attractive, with a huge trees, a nice elephant "tusker" museum, and a great deck overlooking the Letaba River. The game viewing... More

The bungalows were a little close together but were well equipped with an outside kitchenette. We had a nice evening meal in the restaurant with a reasonable choice of dishes. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the whole camp was well looked after. We had a resident bushbuck and her fawn visit it us at the bungalow every... More

We stayed in a bungalow type for 3 persons, but it is rather small with the kitchen outdoor, you have to push the fridge to the wall side to "lock" the door and avoid monkey. Somemore, we found bugs dropping from the roof top (as it is dried grass type of roof) multiply times. But the camp people are really... More

Letaba Rest Camp is situated on a sweeping bend of the Letaba River, midway between the southern and northern boundaries of the Kruger National Park. It is always a good starting point whether you are heading to the southern or northern region of the park. It has a variety of accommodation that suits everyone, whether you enjoy camping or prefer... More

We had a bungalow with shared kitchen with utensils. Had everything we needed. There was even a small pool which was tranquil when I visited. Very well stocked shop. We did the night drive. I think I'd recommend a sunset over that as you get best of both, night drives can be down to the skill of the people (guests)... More

We spent two nights in Hut/chalet # 101 in Letaba last week. It has just been refurbished and is very good; well stocked kitchen (not a kitchenette at all), with gas stove, big fridge with freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and all the crockery and cutlery you could need - even egg cups and toast racks! There is a lounge/dining room,... More

Stayed here for one night. Restaurant is a well known south-african brand. Service was good ( didn't eat, only drinks ) and the restaurant overlooks the river. Nice spot. Room was a bit run down, could do with a renovation job. Camp itself is in a better condition than Satara and Lower Sabie. Camp shop is well stocked and reception... More

We stayed in unit D32 the EA3U bungalow (3 beds, fridge, air con, basin) which is possibly the best in the camp - something which numerous people who passed our bungalow commented on! The view is amazing from this hut - a perfect view of the river! The only thing is this particular hut is right next to the restaurant... More
