We stayed in one of the huts. It had ensuite facilities, fridge, utensils but no cooking facilities...you have to use the communal area. There is a (currently) unlicensed Mugg and Bean restaurant on site, serving a good variety of meals, including a decent vegetarian selection. The shop is well stocked. There is a swimming pool on site, but it isn't... More

Letaba has a great setting and is an attractive camp. The standard huts are basic but adequate, if a little tired. The shop is very good and there were building works underway suggesting further improvements are in hand. Mugg and Bean may be an improvement on what was there before but service was slow, food cold and the restaurant grubby.... More

We stayed here for only one night on our 5 days self driven trip through Kruger National Park. We stayed in a chalet pretty close to the river, equipped with a small kitchenette, fridge and a braai (SA barbecue) and also utensils for using all this. The camp is the newest in the park and it is the most organised... More

Excellent camp, lots of places with electricity for your camper. Helpful and nice personnel. Clean and comfortable (as community bathrooms can be :)) facilities. I need to give them only "very good" instead of "excellent" because of services in restaurant at camp - malfunctional lights, we were eating with our head lamp.

Stayed here for 2 nights during our DIY safari in Kruger. We stayed in one of the outer rondavels ,close to the Letaba river. We were there in the dry season so the river was all dryed up, and had turned into this sand plain, where you'd see elephants burgeoning through. Also sunrises were amazing here. The rondavel itself had... More

We chose this unit as it was river facing and we weren't disappointed. Yes it is a distance of about 30m from the river, but just to awake and go and sit out on the benches by the huts overlooking the river is magical as the sun rises. The camp was wonderful, a hush rests over the camp at about... More

Wow - my favourite restcamp in Kruger thus far!!! Saw 3 different sighting of Leopard in one day, 2 of which was on a Sanparks night drive and one of which was a mother and 2 cubs!!! We heard a lion kill one morning, and everyone in the camp jumped into their cars to try and find it. The accommodation... More

As all the restcamps have, the atmosphere is pleasant and the park feels safe. The 2p bungalow was clean and we were overlooking the river and the garden while building a campfire on our Braai. Don't go to the Mugg&bean restaurant, service just isnt there yet since its been open for only 1 month. Next time we definitly will buynour... More

Management are definitely getting it right at this camp. ALL the staff are friendly, efficient and motivated! Attention is being paid to the small details. There was even a staff member who came around to each chalet in the evening to check that everything was fine. The camp is looking really good and the kids loved exploring the trees and... More

Stayed here for one night with teen son on month tour of Southern Africa. We liked this camp and stayed in one of the bungalows which was spacious, comfortable and clean. Enjoyed the Elephant Museum and a terrific and quite long night drive seeing leopard, hyena, elephant. Beautiful views of Letaba River as you walk around the camp with lots... More
