We had my dad's 70th birthday at nkambeni camp this weekend. I have to say, that in all the years I arranged functions i have never come across a venue quite like this! The staff was SO friendly and helpful and did not hesitate to go the extra mile for us. The food was ABSOLUTELY fabulous and not expensive at... More

This place was awesome. It's located within the park so you feel like you're getting the real Kruger experience. The tented accomodations are really nice and I loved the outdoor showers. A relatively inexpensive price covers your accomodation as well as all you can eat breakfast and dinner, which is quite a steal. Also, the sunset safari tours are amazing...makes... More

We booked at nkambeni safari camp as the kruger park was full over the long weekend period and the lodge was within the boundary of the kruger. From the time we arrived the staff was wonderful, friendly and so help full. We truly felt very welcome during our stay. the food was excilent and a wide varity to suit all... More

We had a great time at Nkambeni, to have breakfast and dinner included, as well as a great room and to be inside the park this was a great value. The staff was very accommodating and there is even a pool to relax at once sight seeing is over. The food was good and there was a great variety. There... More

My wife and I spent a few days and nights Nkambeni Tented Lodge an enjoyed it. Staying in the tents gives you a real sense of being on safari. The tents were clean but dimly lit. The food was good and there was a lot of it. The staff were very friendly and engaging.

The tents are terrible they have holes in them. The dining hall has no ventilation so it's unbearable hot. The food is unimaginative and always the same. You have to pay ever time you go into the Kruger Park it is not inside the park so Don't be mislead. If you have to leave the staff at reception font know... More

We booked an all inclusive Kruger Park Safari which uses the Nkambeni camp for accomodation. The tented rooms provide a wonderful combination of wilderness and luxury. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable and the mosquito nets on windows were effective in keeping most insects out. The outdoor showers were definitely something unique. The food was excellent and there were numerous... More

Prior to my trip to Nkambeni, I'd read other reviews on Trip Advisor and was nervous to see what was in store. After spending nearly a week there, I'm not sure what everyone is complaining about! I found Nkambeni to be a fantastic location and a great place to stay. Yes, it's right outside of the actual Kruger gates, but... More

The tents are rather dirty. Wholes in the musquito windows. It had a weird smell and it was way to hot in there. The food was not good. Not good at all. The only OK thing we had was the lunch we had to pay extra for. Buffet was not good. Breakfast was terrible! Would not go back and would not... More
