the drive there is a little bumpy but before we had even arrived at the lodge,we had already seen impalas, zebras and girafes right beside the road. The staff was welcoming, with special mention for the kitchen/waitress staff. Our room was comfortable, spacious and with a fantastic view from the little terrace. The bar is also the perfect place to... More

We stayed 3 days for the end of a 10 day family roadtrip in February; it was supposed to be the ultimate experience of the vacation of a lifetime. The place is indeed great, no questions. But Pezulu does not understand the difference between guests and customers. No power: Electricy outage are common in the region and we arrived in... More

Dear SP, I do apologize sincerely for this unfortunate experience. Unfortunately I was not on site as I was in hospital for 2 weeks from the 25 February on. I take seriously note of your comments and will take the appropriate action. The guests satisfaction is very important to me. However one must also understand that we cannot be held... More

The structure and the idea are great but the place is terribly run down. The bedding and towels are old and the mosquito net filthy. There is no consistency with regards to the food, one day its a buffet, the next you get some scrambled egg and a piece of bacon. the staff really try hard and are very good... More

We do apologize if we did not meet your expectations. We regularly invest in new bedding and towels, etc… We ordered a new mosquito net as previous guests left the balcony door open and allowed the monkeys to get inside and tear it into pieces at some spots. We had to stitch some spots until the new one gets delivered as... More

Well the Pezulu Tree House Game Lodge certainly exceeded our expectations. We stayed at Pezulu for two nights and the purpose of our stay was to simply enjoy the beauty of the place as we had already been on safaris for 9 days. We were lucky as we had a different tree house each night. Our first night was in... More

We were greeted with friendly faces, even though we got a little lost and only arrived way after our booking in time. The food was amazing and we were treated to a private dinner for our honeymoon. Nicole and Manus were such great hosts and really looked after us. We stayed in the amazing honeymoon treehouse and saw four of... More

Wow - we stayed in our very own treehouse, complete with outdoor shower, enormous bed and free treefrog in the bathroom! We had such a warm welcome although arriving quite late after a long day drive from Joburg. The game drives were great - in a private reserve nearby with skilled driver and tracker we saw loads of wildlife. The... More

What a great experience!!! We stayed in Falsethorn (family treehouse) and it was huge. It was way more space than our party of 3 needed. The treehouse was complete with bush babies that provided lots of entertainment and were a highlight of the trip. The staff was so friendly you felt like family. The food was not fancy, but tasty... we stayed in Knobthorn, 4 of us, the shower was outdoors (open at head height onto the balcony), so unusal experience chatting to your friends whilst in shower, all 4 beds were in same room, probably very good for a family, but not what we expected. having said that the rooms were beautiful and the 'restaurant' was very African, with... We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite and my family stayed in the Standard Tree House. The Standard Tree House is smaller but has an outdoor shower and seating area. The Honeymoon suite is roomier and has a nice outside balcony area. Both tree houses have open plan bathrooms so you need to be comfortable sharing the room. We didn't see... More
