The staff were very accommodating and did everything that they could to make our stay enjoyable. the game drives and walks were very professionally organised and the guides/rangers were very knowledgable about both game and the bush in general.

My review is very old as it dates back nearly 28 years which is the last time I visited South Africa. It was originally to see my Grandmother who lived near Durban- and also to visit other relatives and take the Blue Train, as my pre wedding holiday .. We were originally booked to stay in one of the lodges... More

We spent 4 wonderful days in this lodge, and our guide Shadrack was very interesting and experienced. We loved the cheetahs even if none of them was at the lodge, we met them in the bush (one had just killed a young impala). Watching the porcupines eating at night was fun! We will remember the lions roaring with the car... More

My advise: no need to go to that miserable place when you are so close to Kruger park. You will see much more and get a higher standard of services inside. Tshukudu people are greedy, mean and scornful. Transportation: We had to pay 1400R for transfert from Nelspruit to the lodge. No one advised us about this high amount out... More

Dear Cindy, I am very sorry you feel this way about Tshukudu Game Lodge. I believe every effort was made to make your stay comfortable, however believe you may have a different agenda as this is not your first attempt to discredit Tshukudu Game Lodge, please be truthful and stop making things up. This is certainly not the way we... More

The most informative game drives we have been on in South Africa. Far superior to the many other Game Reserves we have visited. The morning walks were an adrenalin rush, being so close to the animals. It is like being in a zoo, without cages, can be scary. Food is very good and plentiful. Beds are extremely comfortable. Staff are... More

An adventure not to be missed. The lodge has a few high class rooms and stylish Glamping tents which we stayed in. Being of retired age the camp style accommodation is well worth the experience with en-suite bathrooms, refrigerator and other necessities. Food is typical served African style in local surroundings. The game drive superb with knowledgeable rangers who drive into... More

Tshukudu Game Lodge offers a really great experience, enabling you to get as close as possible to wild animals. The rangers are very experienced and are eager to respons to your individual demands. To touch a cheetahs is surely a great experience whereas I found the morning walks with them not very much exciting. I would prefer to have real... More

If you want 4-star hotel comforts in the bush this lodge isn't for you. On the other hand, if you like a comfortable, friendly lodge South African style this may just be one of your better choices. Accommodations are fine, staff are friendly and wildlife is plentiful. Visitors have more freedom than at some other lodges but with that comes... More
