This is an incredibly luxurious 'camp', beautifully appointed rooms, great lodge and great food! This camp features a herd of elephants which have been rescued and allows for various interactions with them. The elephant walks were informative and enjoyable, the guides are all very knowledgeable. Wish we had stayed longer. 2 to 3 nights is optimum to allow for interaction... More

I would suggest a 3 or even 4 night stay. You are attended to from arrival at the Hoedspruit airport (which I think has three scheduled flights each day). Each meal has a menu that can be adjusted to requirements. We were assigned one guide for the duration, along with another guest who arrived on the same day, which has... More

I visited Camp Jabulani in April and was slightly worried that there would be too much vegetation to get good game viewing. I shouldn't have worried. It was very green and lush but we saw lots of animals (including all the Big Five) and had a marvellous time, thanks to our brilliant ranger Ryan. On our last morning we had... More

I stayed at Camp Jabulani for 4 nights in April and had the most amazing time. From the moment I was picked up at the airport to moment I was dropped off, I was in awe of this luxurious retreat. The accommodation is decorated in the style of colonial elegance and the view from my room of the dry river... More

This property is very special, even without the elephants. The rooms are gorgeous, staff is wonderful and the elephants just make it more special. If you stay here you can also get a behind the scenes tour of the endangered species center. You can also pet crunchy the cheetah which other visitors cannot. The species center is very interesting. The... More

Amazing facilities, lodge, staff and game viewing of everything including the big 5. The 13,000 acre private reserve provides all types of safari viewing while having the feeling that you are truly the only ones enjoying the experience. The uniqueness of the elephant experience that only they offer is perfect for families specially those with young children.

Everything is perfect at Camp jabulanoi. The hotel, the food, the people, the decor, the ambiance, the fact that it is luxurious without being pompous. It really makes you feel confortable. The experience with Jabulani and other elephants is something we will never forget. We were expecting to be "all about elephants" but in fact the Kapama Reserve is wonderful,... More

An absolute dreamy experience to go on safari riding an elephant. And no it is not true African Elephants are not untrainable. The elephants at Jabulani are wonderful. The daily frolick at the pond watching them having fun with water was priceless. Clearly a once in a lifetime experience.

We are so delighted with your review and for your wonderful description of your 'gliding through the bush' on the elephants which really made us smile. I am sure that other travellers are going to find your detailed comments about the suites really useful. We really appreciate your praise for the food and the service - thank you so much. More
