This is small, intimate lodge. Its comfortable. The food was good. We saw a lot of lions - plus elephants, water buffalo & rhino. Sadly no leopard, but never mind! The safari drives are in open land rovers. The rangers are very good a finding lions, which we found 3 days in a row. more

All I can say is, after a few days at Mohlabetsi, you go home with memories that you will never forget. All the Big 5, fantastic lion and leopard sightings, and a great buffalo kill... what more could I have wanted? Great hospitality and great food. My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights this past April. This was our first time in South Africa and wanted to see the wildlife. We were not disappointed. All of the staff members are wonderful. We spent 4 nights at Mohlabetsi and loved every minute. It is a small private game park, with a very intimate atmosphere. The staff was terrific; the rooms in the separate "rondels" were very comfortable and charming; the food was simple but delicious. We had two game drives each day. After much deliberation, phone calls and emails we booked a stay here. NO REGRETS. Great location, lots of wildlife, great rangers (esp Tony). Lovely food, super accomodation.
