This is one of those destinations which you continue to visit your entire life. The location is perfect, the facilities are great and there's so many different activities in the surrounding area to keep the whole family busy & entertained. We will probably continue to come here for as long as we are able to.

I have been staying on a regular basis at Swadini since 1983 and this is truly an amazing resort! Accommodation is great and the service by the friendly staff very efficient! There is just something so perfect about sitting outside your chalet and looking at "Oom Paul's Kop" and listening to the baboons chattering in the mountain - truly food... More

This is a rustic african experience and not for everyone. It is on the usual tourist route to the Kruger Park but more of a local secret. However we used to go there for weekends for many years and the place has not changed. The scenery inmidst of the Blyde River Canyon is just amazing and a wonderful retreat. The... More

At the entrance to Blyde River Canyon and Blyderivierpoort Dam, at the foot of the impressive Mariepskop, sits this lovely resort on expansive and well-kept grounds with roaming wild deer and hen. Though a single traveler, I was assigned a three bedroom cottage with plenty of room - at 50% midweek senior discount to boot! The small restaurant offered basic... More

We stayed in chalet 75 and the chalet was amazing, clean, tidy, beautifully presented and well maintained. The entire park was very clean, well maintained and the facilities was perfect. All staff... After 2 visits both December 2011 & 2012 we will now go back again this year for the 3rd time. They have a fantastic program with the kids in the morning and activities, music and entertainment around the pool for young and old alike during the day. The surrounding areas & nature is breathtaking, we went to the Falls, river... More

We visited Swadini very often when our children were small, and once again in the beginning of October taking our eldest son, his wife and two grandchildren along. The chalet was spacious and clean. Grounds very neat and clean and the best of all the mountain still as majestic as ever. Serviced daily and fitted out well. Great value for... More

This is a beautiful area and the facilities are really good, other than a few small details which need attention i.e. the individual braais need some maintenance. The accommodation is neat, clean and well fitted out and is excellent value for money. The grounds and public areas are well maintained and spacious and the restaurant was really a pleasant surprise,... More

I am not a camping type unless i have no choice but I decided that I am going to challenge myself into changing my ways especial after we bought a trailer. When I arrived at Swadini resort 2 weeks ago, I was impressed by the quality of the resort and staff. I was surprised to find at a campsite a... More
