Spent the weekend at Swadini. Very long drive to get there (and to get to any of the panaromic route sites), but very enjoyable. Lovely resort and very comfortable. Would recommend it if you plan to visit the Kruger Park, but not if you plan to visit God's Window, Graskop, Sabie, Pilgrims Rest, etc.

Having spent two months living in my beloved Challet 73 right in the back corner, i look back here with fond fond memories, so comfortable, friendly helpful staff at the shop - especially Daisy ❤️ and all the beautiful animals who surround this beautiful magical place. I miss it and vow to return

LITTLE PARADISE IF YOU LOVE NATURE been here on two occasions and I loved everything about this place from the staff to the hippo I once bumped into amongst other animals, however the tar road to the viewing spot could do with a bit of maintenance

The setting and surroundings makes you feel like you are tucked away from the outside world, all by yourself and the beautiful mountains and rivers all around you. The chalets are all well equipped and comfortable. Swadini's best asset must be the superb camping area where you have ample shade from huge trees and some stands have been paved to... More

I think reviews will be heavily biased based on season. In season = busy, many activities, great for kids. Out of season, nature lovers paradise - peaceful. We have stayed here many times and had different experiences, but have always come back. This is my first review for Swadini, and based on my last visit a few weeks ago. Reception... More

Very nice equipped chalets. Friendly and helpful staff - we booked one chalet and when we got there we requested one closer to the pool and they were more than willing to give us another chalet. Nice, quiet, peaceful and save environment. Animals walking around, coming to visit when having a braai at night. Camping area also nicely equipped stands.... More

We love the stunning nature scenes and super exciting things to do as a family. The resort is very neat and staff kind and helpful. Birds, mokeys and little mammals are all over. The walking trails next to the river is short enough for little kids to join in the fun. The public toilets are neat and close to the... More

My wife is South African and we decided to spend a long weekend at Swadini amongst the jumping around introducing the family to our little ones. Swadini is a place where as Kids my wife and family used to go and they loved it and for me...wow. Incredible views, the stars were soo bright and the wildlife was immense. We... More

We've been visiting Swadini for a number of years, both as campers in the caravan park, as well as in the chalets. The silence and solitude in the chalet area still remains one of the best reasons to visit Swadini. The Drakensberg mountains keeping an eye on the resort still remains majestic. However, this is unfortunately the only good things... More

Fantastic and beautiful camp! So well situated! These people thought of everything! The ablution blocks are really stunning. The park is well maintained and staff extremely friendly. Excellent camp for families with small children as well (remember the bicycles!). Also remember to do the Blyderiver dam boat trip - so worth every cent!
