All I have to say is that I thoroughly enjoyed my recent stay here, the accommodation is good with everything that you need. The staff and facilities are very good. I would recommend this to anyone that likes wildlife and getting up close and personal.

We recently visited Tshukudu Lodge for 2 nights as part of our 34th anniversary. Apart from the great food and comfortable room we got a complimentary book with the story of the founders and owners of the farm. A great true story that should be made a movie. We have visited quite a couple of places that offerred a trip... More

Rustic accommodations, so not for everyone but the Bush Lodge is available for those who want more pampering. We found our room to be quite comfortable, even thought it wasn't exactly spotless. Tshukudu was a welcome change from Kruger and fighting cars for game viewing space but I only wish we could have spent more time each day viewing. It... More

OK, if you expect honeymoon style accommodation, this is the wrong place. My spouse and I went for our 12th anniversary. Had it just been about the accommodation, you might be a little on the short side in buying brownie points for the anniversary night. Don't get me wrong; Everything is practical, and neat, and all the necessities and amenities... More

Its not easy to find a self catering place in the reserves based around Kruger and this one is really a gem in my view. I must say I like Kruger itself most, but we usually combine our visit with some of the neighbouring places and this one was the best we have found so far. If the animals are... More

Stayed here in September with my children, a truly wonderful experience. Very clean accommodation, fantastic safari drives, great spotting. the owner, David, is one of the most knowledgeable guides you will encounter, he really cares for the wider environment too. We would definitely visit again.

This is a great bush experience guided by a professional and knowledgeable ranger David. If you are looking for a realistic way of getting a close-up experience with the big five, without breaking the bank, then this is the place for you. Family oriented, and geared up to those who are both experienced in the bush or for a first... More

Walking with cheetahs, seeing elephant, buffalo, wildebeest, warthogs, monitor lizards, snakes, impala, steenbokkies, waterbuck, giraffe, lion including cubs in the wild is a truelly humbling experience. The bushcamp is clean, hospitable staff, communial kitchen with everything one needs, including staff to assist cooking and cleaning up after the meals, airconditioned rooms, swimming pool and a TV. Stayed here as part of an organised tour we were doing with Explore Holidays. As it was a family tour Tshukudu was mainly for the kids. Firstly the accommodation was really nice, we had a large room (I think it was a wheelchair friendly one given the size of the shower area!) which slept the 3 of us really nicely.... More
