Comfortable accommodation and plenty of wild life on your stoep (porch). Peaceful and quiet but within driving distance of town and several amenities like the Kruger National Park and the Boabab Tree Restaurant

We had a mid week and the increased in with a weekend to start the week and what a pleasure. Ekuthuleni...wow the cleanest resort i have ever stayed in. The staff by FAR the friendliest I have met. The view from the room onto the banks of the Olifants River, stunning. Every thing one could wish for from air-con to... More

We made a mid week booking at Ekuthuleni and didn't really know what to expect. What a lovely surprise on our arrival! The most friendly staff at the entrance gate and at reception with fully equipped, clean and spacious, chalets on the bank of the Olifants River. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and watching the hippo's in the river... More

A lovely self-catering location on a tarred road, an hour from Kruger Park. They have their own game park (antelope, giraffe, etc) with a lovely lookout point (four-wheel drive vehicle needed). The Olifants River with the hippos, crocs and birdlife to view from your deck is fabulous. The units are comfortable and cool. Staff are very friendly. Pool area and... More

A beautiful place to stay nicely fitted out. The view from the deck overlooking the Olifants river that flowed past the row of chalets was a real wow. A really nice barbeque was right next to the deck. Nothing can beat sitting on your deck enjoying sundowners and watching the sun set over the river. The resident collection of hippos... More

A truly great place. This resort should have gold crown status. Very friendly and helpful staff. Kids had a great time in the games room and pool, there comment, "mommy it's perfect". Birds beyond belief, hippos and crocs at your doorstep, wildebees in the garden. Small game farm with excellent walks. Located close to Hoedspruit with plenty of things to... More

We stayed at Ekuthuleni for a weekend. I must say that the manager and staff were very helpful. They made our stay very comfortable. The place itself is so peaceful and I felt rejuvenated after our weekend away. I am definitely considering going back there for a week, this time, and also to get some peace and quiet while I... I was invited to join my family at this resort in May 2013. It took almost a whole day of travelling with two little ones to get there. Our first impression was that it was amazing. The accomodation was perfect, the view from the unit was spectacular and we could see crocodile and hippos from our balcony everyday. We had... More

Ekuthuleni gives you that home away from home experiance. The houses are larger than most, and you can easily sleep 6 people. 2 in a double room, 2 in two singles and then another two in the loft (not closed off though). Unfortunitly the pool was being fixed so we had to go down to hippo pools and that was... More
