The only problem with this hotel is the location but otherwise it was very nice and seviceable. I have no complaints and the breakfast was good too. I might not stay here for a vacation spot but for what I needed it was great. I would stay here again when in the area

The check-in was probably the worst I've ever experienced at any hotel in the world. It appeared to be a training problem, but you expect better from a 4-star hotel. However, after that I found the stay pleasant. Staff were generally polite and the service good. The food was of a standard that you expect and the room comfortable and... More

The check-in was okay - not as friendly as indicated - and the room is indeed a bit old and worn, but it was clean, the bed and linen good, the towels very nice, and television with selection okay. I had breakfast with the room...it was average to above average. Fruit, cereal, yogurt, made to order eggs, etc. Had to... More

The centurion lake hotel is definitely a place for family members, tourists or business people alike. Although the rooms may seem a little dates at first for the western visitor, look again, absorb the colours of the land and you will get it. The staff are some of the most genuine friendly people I have ever met, and they even... More

If you prefer contemporary interiors and luxury, keep looking – perhaps as far afield as Sandton (30-40km away). If you are satisfied with simple comfort and helpful, friendly staff, then the Centurion Lake Hotel should meet your needs. Olivia and Janine were first to impress me with their efficiency upon initial enquiry and booking confirmation. Steve took the baton next... More

I have been staying in this hotel for four years and whilst it has never ranked five stars it was reasonable value for money in a good location (for work and shopping). I stayed there last week with my wife and later my boss and two other colleagues joined. From the start i was not impressed this time, first time... More

Dear johne999a, Thank you for your review, not the greatest we have had, please accept my apologies as it definately appears that we dropped the ball on this occasion. I would appriciate it if you could e-mail me directly so that I can do a better follow-up on the billing and the room as I am not able to pick... More

I stayed here for 6 nights for the SA v Australia Test at nearby Supersports Park. For the first night I was in a corner Executive room - 417. Very large with a nice 3 seater settee and also an easy chair - a rather antiquated air conditioning system but effective. The baths here are rather narrow and getting hot... More

I stayed here for one night as it was close to our office. I must say that the staff in this hotel are excellent, they are welcoming, friendly and provide great service and they are a credit to the hotel. The rooms are very tired, old and have the musty feel about them, everything worked but was not comfortable. I... More

Though the staff and management were always very friendly my stay at the hotel - related to a training workshop - was made more difficult because (1). communications between reception desk and drivers made the trip to the Virgin Active facilities very difficult some mornings; (2). business services (printing of documents) were marred by neglect to correct issues of viral... I stayed here during the 1st test AUS/SA Feb, 2014. The location is the best to walk to the grounds. The rooms are pretty spacious (my room had 2 double beds and space to walk around comfortably) and it has everything you need - tea, coffee, internet, complimentary water, strong shower. The breakfast buffet was amazing and you'll easily eat enough... More
