I frequently stay at Road, Town and City Lodges around the country. The Road Lodges are by far the worst of the lot. At this particular one I noticed a few things that were unacceptable. 1. The bedspread had not been laundered - possibly never. Please, get rid of these antiquated bedspreads and replace the sheets and blankets with fresh... More

I frequently stay in Road Lodges, Town Lodges and City Lodges. In fact the group is my accommodation provider of choice in South Africa. However, the front desk at this establishment almost had me changing my mind. On arrival (a Sunday afternoon) with a very unhelpful gent at the front desk told me that my travel agent (who makes many... More

Rooms are small, fairly old and overpriced. Although adequate it could get claustrophobic with more than one person. Suitable for a short stop over but nothing else. Breakfast is above average. Would rather stay in one of the many guest houses available in the area.

Stayed three weeks at the Centurion Road Lodge. Unusually long for this place, most people probably just stay a couple of nights at most. Staff are nice, although not always as friendly as the advertising motto (I'm kind, it's contagious) suggests. The rooms are all the same, or at least almost (some have a third bed for a kid, others... More

The Road/City lodge chain of hotels are perhaps not the most luxurious, but service is reasonable, the hotel is clean and rooms are adequate. The breakfast buffet is also good *You don't have to eat breakfast, and end up paying less. The hotel is situated very close to some nice reataurants, and about 4 blocks away from the Centurion Mall,... More

I stayed on business for three nights at the Hotel. The reception was very unprofessional. In my room the toilet was not cleaned. I have stayed in various hotels in the world and this must be one of the worst breakfasts for the price. They ran out of various products, and I had to go and ask someone to replace... More
