Very nice place in the Centurion area. Rooms are spacious with huge beds. There is no noise even if the building is near the main road The bathroom is also very big and the shower can accomodate al least three persons at the same time. At breakfast you can find all kind of food Prices are low.

We hosted a business dinner with international guest at The Royal Elephant Hotel. Well there is very little " royal" about this place , as it does remind you of a typical South African conference venue. Although the buffet dinner had plenty to offer and the general quality is fine ( not sure you can expect more from a buffet... More

Arriving at the restaurant for a company function we were greated by the rudist manager (Thunis) when we ask if we could move our tables closer together since it was a funtion he refused stating " I wont do that!" turnd his back on us and walked off. Leaving the restaurant staff scrambling to try and help us and find... More

Took a team to the Royal Elephant for a small conference and had a really great experience. The décor is Moroccan and a bit overdone but if you get past that it is a very pleasant and well run facility. Rooms were great and everyone enjoyed them with some being placed in the suites which are as big as a... More

We thoroughly enjoyed the lounge area. A warm fire going with couches and service to match the ambience. Just a few friends getting away from the hustle and bustle enjoying drinks and snacks. We were well taken of by the staff, David was our waiter. He was friendly and professional. Even though we almost clocked midnight there he was as... More

You know, this venue mirrors South African life in general. Let me start by saying, there isn't a whole lot wrong with it, but it doesn't satisfy. There is this grand name that it labours under. "Royal" - that has a nostalgic and traditional air about it. Kwazulu-Natal exploits this notion to the full. We all ignore the myriad contradictions... More

this is one of the gems in the crown of Centurion. situated far enough out of the city centre to be far enough, and close enough to be easy. the restaurant is excellent and the service top notch. will definitely be visiting more often.

Excellent suites and food was amazing; Staff very friendly. The buffets at both dinner and breakfast still amazes me. Will recommend to anyone visiting and going on business to Pretoria or Johannesburg.

Stayed here for a few days in February 2015 - work conference. Smart hotel - well priced. Food and drink very well priced too. Rooms are smart and comfortable and clean. Great bathroom facilities. Breakfast Lunch and Dinner were all excellent quality. The only downside to this hotel is the pool is tiny and so is the gym - not... More
