The Wilderness Bushcamp came to us highly recommended and we were looking forward to a quiet night with a Braai and a glass of wine! From the first contact we mentioned that we would like to have a Braai (BBQ) and asked if the facilities are in place. This was confirmed with a clear YES a couple of times by... More

One of our friends referred me to this hidden treasure and I can see why... To start off with, the views are AMAZING! The wooden cottage (Honeymoon Cottage) makes you feel warm and cozy while enjoying a glass of wine on the deck. They have everything you need to stay as long as you want. The steep drive makes for... A beautiful well hidden place. We did find the description on the website on how to get there a bit confusing but eventually found the right road. Be warned if you are in a rental, it gets proper steep and it's first gear all the way... We stayed at Lapa Lodge and the rooms while basic had everything you could... More

Lovely cosy cabin with a stunning view, though if you're not well acquainted with your travelling companions' bedroom and bathroom habits when you arrive, you will be when you leave as the thin bamboo walls are less than soundproof! The steep uphill walk from town is totally worth it for the gorgeous deck area over looking the lagoon with built-in... More

We last visited in 1999 and I am happy to report this accommodation is just as wonderful. We stayed in Sunset Ridge, no 5 - perfect for a couple and the most amazing view. Very well equipped and comfy. We are already planning our next trip back.

This was our first stay in wilderness and when we arrived I was sorry that I had booked only one night. The hospitality was great, Gillian was so helpful and friendly, the cabin was clean and beautifully furnished. The views were stunning, I will definately be back with the rest of the family. I will never forget this place, next... More

I can not rave enough about this hidden gem. We stayed here 15 yrs ago as a couple and have been dying to come back with our two daughters aged 9 and 11. It was just as amazing as we had remembered. You could not ask for a better location with spectacular views and complete privacy. You really have nature... More

Over the years we have probably stayed in just about every cabin, and can honestly say that there is no better place to relax and unwind. The views are truly spectacular!!! Weather alone, as a couple or a family, it's a bargain! You can't go wrong with Wilderness Bushcamp!
