We stayed at Cedar Garden now in June -14 on our way through Sani Pass and Lesotho. We arrived in the afternoon in fog and rain so we didn't really realize what a beautiful place Underberg is until the next morning. The views over the mountains are stunning. Cedar Garden B&B is a lovely place to stay. Friendly staff and... More

We traveled to Underberg for a wedding and spent the night at Cedar Garden. The rooms were spacious with a nice modern bathroom. The bed was a king size with electric blanket (which was of good use!). The staff are also very friendly and made the stay enjoyable. We would consider staying here again if we have to travel to... We stayed at Cedar Garden B & B in August as we wanted to do a day trip up Sani Pass. We found the owners and staff very friendly and helpful with anything we requested. Stayed in a lovely spacious room which was very clean and comfortable and had lovely views towards the mountains and over the pretty garden. Delicious... More

We were a group of 7 staying at Cedar Garden B&B for two nights, to explore the Sani Pass and surrounds. The rooms are spacious, with en suite bathrooms and the gardens are an absolute joy, especially considering the time of the year (mid-September). The staff are very enthusiastic and insist on serving breakfast in such a way that guests... More

In this charming cottage in a beautiful garden nearby the centre of Underberg we were for three nights. The nice rooms with view in the garden, the lovely breakfast room for delicate food and the tours and restaurants recommended by the very friendly personal. It was a long detour to come here but it was it worth because we had... More

We stayed here for four nights 12th to 15th February. Absolutely superb in every way. The "Madame" of the house could not have been more helpfull from booking our Sani trip to advising on restaurants. Tea, coffee etc available at all hours, a truly wonderful place to stay. The fact that this establishment is within walking distance of the village... More

We stayed here for two nights on our way back from the coast to Joburg. Wanted to stay somewhere near the Sani Pass, in a B&B. Cedar Garden was wonderful, beautiful, relaxing and well maintained. The house was built in the 1950s, but it's been kept up VERY well. Stunning gardens and off the main drag so it's very quiet.... More

They were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very cozy and nicely decorated. Some rooms don't have enquire but most do. Just ask! Do the day trip to the Sani Pass. They can set it up for you. You NEED a 4x4 by law! And the guide is useful to meet the local villagers.

If you would stay again, it's always a good indicator! We were breaking a trip and needed an overnight stop - 4 adults and a toddler were easily accommodated in a family cottage that had all the comforts you could need. The quiet, beautiful garden, full of birdlife, was a bonus for all of us, especially our Granddaughter, as she... More

Stayed here for two nights between a long drive through the Drakensberg mountains and a day trip into Lesotho through the Sani Pass. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. It was cold while we were there and the only heating was a portable oil radiator, which we had to leave on most of the time. The breakfasts were good... More
