What a beautiful hotel with lovely surroundings. My room was huge with a bath and walk in shower, private patio looking out onto the stunning gardens. I used the laundry service, putting several items of clothes in, which were back within hours, pressed and at a very reasonable cost. As part of the tour we had a night drive, not... More

We live in Durban and have experienced a number of game lodges and hotels in and around the area. The Trip Advisor reviews have helped us to choose and book Ghost Mountain Inn for Christmas and we are really looking forward to our stay and hopefully it will live up to all the good reports. We will send a detailed... More

We stayed at the Ghist Moutain Inn as part of our Grand Tour of South Africa, we were made to feel welcome from our arrival until our departure. The rooms were lodge style and breakfast and dinner were buffet in the main restaurant with good variety on offer. During our stay we had sun downer drinks on the mountain which... More

On our way from Swaziland to St. Lucia, we stopped here for a quick luncheon. A pleasant surprise. Next to the swimming pool and with a wonderful view of the 'Ghost Mountain'. Excellent staff, excellent service and excellent quality of food. Less than 10 minutes off the N2 (Mkuze exit). The only other option there is the 1-Stop service station.... More

Touring in South Africa 9 Leaving Durban behind we traveled for three hours East along the N2 towards St Lucia and the Isimangaliso Wetland Park (separate review) for a two hour cruise in this saltwater lagoon to see hippo and crocodile in their natural environment. We enjoyed staying at Ghost Mountain Inn. The room was very nice with a patio facing the garden. The only thing annoying me at night was the little fountain behind our room. Makes lots of noise during the night. An absolute recommendation is to use their spa! Lunch and breakfast is great, but the quality of dinner was so-so. Staff... More

My husband and I stayed at the Ghost Mountain Inn as part of our tour of South Africa. We received the warmest and most informative welcome from Sean and his team - this set the tone for the duration of our stay. After a long journey to the Inn, the welcome drink was also much appreciated. The staff could not... More

Stayed for only one night but thoroughly enjoyed it. My room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. Both dinner and breakfast buffets were pretty standard, but of high quality. Has a great bar area for sundowners and the staff were great throughout. Will return w/o reservation.

Clean, quiet, elegantly decorated rooms & public spaces. Good service, lovely gardens with flowers everywhere. Room 32 has 2 twin beds pushed together, patio, AC, tea/coffee service, safe, closet, big bath with separate tub & shower. Very good dinner & wines in the hotel restaurant. I wished I had stayed here longer and would definitely stay here again.
