We stopped here for lunch on our way from Swaziland to Saint Lucia and what a great find! The settings are really beautiful and still being improved on, the restaurant is very well laid out and appointed. Great service and brilliant food - not sure we could've asked for more (best coffee we'd had for days!)

I stayed at the Ghost Mountain Inn in early November 2014 for a 2-night stay, coming from Swaziland enroute to Dundee, on the fourth stage of my 15-day 'Bushveld & Battlefields' holiday (plus Victoria Falls extension) operated by Voyages Jules Verne. Despite us being out each day on busy excursions, there was enough time in such a relatively short time... More

I loved our stay at this beautiful and tranquil oasis, Sean and his team make this a memorable venue. The food both at breakfast and dinner was excellent with a good choice. I just loved the grounds with the boardwalk out to the viewing platform at sunset. Excursions with Jean were marvellous especially with her sense of humour. Thanks for... More

So disappointing! Mostly unfriendly staff especially the receptionist and bar man - the bar man was doing you a BIG favour to bring you a drink and that was when you could find him. The lady who help with the luggage was very nice and friendly. VERY basic buffet dinner (Everything we tried to order from the wine list was... More

Dear JacquiB, I am terribly sorry to hear about your disappointing stay at the Ghost Mountain Inn and in particular the poor service you received. I want to assure you that the service you received from our receptionist and bar man is most certainly not how we typically operate. Thank you for bringing your experience to our attention as it... Nice hotel on the lake shore, having decent rooms, good dinning facilities, and a pleasant courtyard with swimming pool. Unfortunatelly we couldn't benefit from the boat cruise on the lake due to the hard wind, but we filled up our batteries and spend all day relaxing.

Our stay started with a very friendly greeting, much appreciated after a very long drive on a long day. Our room was very clean (very important!!!) and comfortable. The meals were quite delicious with a variety of choices. We fully enjoyed our stay.

Friendly staff and managers, the breakfast was awesome, the omelette was too delicious, I loved it !! Sat in the garden and sip some cocktails, it was beautiful, looking forward to visit again. Beautiful gardens and surroundings.

Spent 3 nights from 20th Sept 2014 with Titan Tours. Two local tours were arranged via the hotel using their staff to visit Mkuze Game Reserve & Lake Jozini Boat Cruise / Local Culture . The second was optional on our tour but both were worthwhile experiences within the area. (See separate " things to do " reviews. So far... More

What a beautiful hotel with lovely surroundings. My room was huge with a bath and walk in shower, private patio looking out onto the stunning gardens. I used the laundry service, putting several items of clothes in, which were back within hours, pressed and at a very reasonable cost. As part of the tour we had a night drive, not... More
