We really enjoyed our week stay at Zulu nyala. We had two Hemingway tents (22 and 6) and watched the sun set each night from our porch. The tents are not what you would call a tent if you are into camping and are very comfortable and modern. On windy nights - they can be loud if you are a... More

Wife and I spent 6 days at the Heritage First off it was a great experience, not sure you can call this a vacation! But, you can be as busy as you wish, and we opted to experience as much as we could during our visit. Multiple morning and afternoon safaris during our visit, and we need to add -... More

We spent 6 days on safari at Zulu Nyala. We stayed in one of the Hemingway Tented Cabins. Everything about Zulu Nyala exceeded our expectations. It's the type of place you leave and immediately start planning a return visit! We loved it so much! Our guide was Peace and he was wonderful- friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. We did game drives... More

Spent 2 nights with family at the tented camps and was impressed with the look and feel of the tented accommodation. Lots of zebra and nyala walking around which makes you feel like you are really in the middle of the bush. There were a few things that could've been better... one of our tented units didn't have a fridge.... More

This is a must see on a bucket list.. We had the best ranger ,Chris who took us on a unbelieveable journey to see the animals. He could spot and track the animals for us. Could not believe that we were seeing this, Princess at the restaurant was so welcoming and made us feel at home.

Like everyone else, we went to Zulu Nyala because we got it at an auction. 80% of the guests are there because they bought it at an auction. The remaining guests are mostly French tourists on bus trips and they stay for about 2 nights. Prior to going I read many reviews on Trip Advisor and while most of it... More

Stayed in tents for 2 days then 4 days in Lodge. Ask for An upgraded tent as you will be closer to the animals and have more privacy. We had tent 22 and our friends had tent 6 and the zebras and Nyala were outside our doors! The tent is definitely not roughing it, and we were quite comfortable with... More

Comfortable large updated rooms with helpful attentive staff-- a pleasant surprise given the number of guests with rapid turnover(European groups seem to visit for 1-3 nights .., Americans more likely to stay 4-6 days) Best to use this as a base to visit other reserves in the area-- Zulu Nyala itself is a fairly small property probably too densely populated... You have three choices of where to stay - the Lodge, Heritage, or the Hemingway tents (which are on Heritage property) We chose the tents and were thrilled with the accommodations. Note....food is not the best but just tell yourself you didn't go all that way to eat. Staff is amazing and the game drives are terrific. When you book,... More

It us worth the experience. Just be sure to suppliment this with Zulu Bayaette and Elephant interaction for an authentic experience. The Zulu Nyala Safari is decent...and you will be excited for a few days. To see lions however you need to go elsewhere. Do it. Food is adaquate. Rooms...depends where and what you get. We recommend the Heritage over... More
