My wife booked me into Goble Palms for the evening after completing the Amashova cycling race. I expected just another featureless guest house to rest a tired body for one night. However, I was pleasantly surprised!!. I really liked the way they kept the almost 100 year old charm going; old world architecture, antiques fittings, yet modern first world service.... More

We stayed at the Globe Palms for one night on route to Kwazulu Natal the following day. We had a really enjoyable stay and were thoroughly looked after from the minute we arrived until the time we left, nothing was too much trouble. The guest lodge is situated down a quiet back street in Morningside, but close enough to all... More

I recently stayed at Goble Palms whilst in Durban to visit family in nursing home. The staff are always available day and night and the rooms are beautifully appointed. Breakfast is all you could wish for. This is more a private boutique hotel than a guest house and I'm sure i will stay there again in the future.

My husband and I have recently stayed at this guest house. The decor and surroundings are stunning. The staff are welcoming and always there for you. I lost count of the number of coffees we were served with out on the veranda. Vincent always greeted us with a smile. Would strongly recommend this to other travellers.

Started off our holiday in South Africa here, and enjoyed it so much we booked in again at the end of our stay. The staff and our hosts were fabulous, the breakfasts superb and the rooms very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast on the terrace was a delight with the garden trees and birds flitting about. Little touches of kindness made... More

This place is a gem!!! We stayed for 2 nights at Goble Palms. We were so pleasantly surprised when we walked in the front gate. The grounds, gardens and pool were just beautiful and peaceful. The room was comfy and fairly quiet. Just what we needed after a long trip. We were traveling with family so we really enjoyed all... More

Lovely room with large comfy bed. Our room had big double doors that opened into a separate courtyard. Beautiful views of the Indian Ocean from the veranda. There is a small pub on site with an “honesty bar”. Was the perfect setting to sit and watch the Springboks vs. Wales rugby game which was being played just down the street... More

my two night stay at Goble palms was lovely. It has far more rooms than expected and all are decorated in an old English Colonial style. Whilst Goble palms is very comfortable The stay was rely made by Vincent the Manager and Goodman. They could not do enough for us and even cleaned my car. The owners Lionel and Leanne... More
