We were looking for Budget accommodation, and that is what we got! what a pity it couldn't have been clean budget accommodation. Walls are paper thin, the rooms are TINY, the bathroom REALLY TINY, and very dirty. years worth of dirt and toilet rolls in the corners of the rooms. Don't walk barefoot since you will feel the dirt under... More

We were in a room near the stairway, which means we could hear EVERY sound from reception and guests entering their rooms with a musical entry sound of each swipe of an access room card. Problem with hot water and tiny shower in a narrow bathroom with no mirror. One towel provided for two guests and ONE pillow each. You... More

As I haven't stayed in every hotel in Durban I cannot say that it is the worst hotel in Durban, but, believe me it ticks all the boxes to rate in that category. The rooms are cubes (little boxes) with very little in them. The TV doesn't work, the side lamp still has no plug or lamp in it. Walls... More

This hotel's website makes it look nice - upon arrival, we found such unacceptable conditions that we actuallly checked out again and left. No internet, gentleman at reception barely understood English, rooms were dingy, dirty, and worst of all didn't have proper locks on the doors. Please, please avoid this hotel!

Booked this hotel for boys participating in a polo camp at Clifton School as it is very conveniently located. However the good location does not make up for the terrrible facilities. The taxi driver taking the boys to the hotel noted that the hotel is used by working ladies. The rooms were awful. In one room there were four broken... More

Being the eternal optimist I like to find the silver lining on any dark cloud, so here goes...when I booked myself and my three young sons into this 'hotel' for a boy's weekend away I had no idea that I was going to be giving them a lesson in how to appreciate the many blessings we have in our lives,... by chance my company booked me in here and luckily i arrived early, and couldnt get out of there fast enough, peeling decaying paint wet rot on the ground floors, views of walls, and generally the most pathetic place I could ever lay eyes on. if it was £1 a night it would be too much!
