The hotel is very, very old and unclean. Breakfast not very good, internet ridiculously expensive. Close to the beach but the neighborhood is dangerous, ugly and there are people yelling in the streets at all hours of the night and early morning. Rooms for more than one person are very large, which is nice. More

I have never seen such glum and unhelpful staff. I witnessed a mugging right outside the window and while sitting on the terrace for an evening meal was pestered by beggers! Better than prior reviews. Maybe they took advice and updated. Certainly I found the Beach Hotel clean, spacious and comfortable and the staff helpful with some non-hotel related problems.
