Sarcastic host, flowing with positivity and energy! Don is a very hospitable host along with this huge dog, who welcome everyone from everywhere with an open heart. Great breakfast and a pleasant stay overall!

Acorn B&B in Durban is a lovely place to stay for a short or long trip. It's well located, near shopping and entertainment facilities; and just a short drive to the central business district. The manager, Don is attentive and highly supportive. He makes us feel at home each time we visit. The staff there are also charming and very... More

Don is a gracious and charming host. And funny! I appreciated the extra attention to quality (of for example the linen and the training of staff), as well as the care and the kindness. I felt welcome even before I arrived.

Hi Pat We at Acorn B&B love having guests who only want to stay in Club Duvet as it is so comfy and inviting. I try to make this one of my chief concerns as I want my guests to return just to enjoy the luxury of the beds and linen. The beds are waiting for your return! More

I loved staying at this B&B. Don, the owner, was great - funny, kind and extremely attentive. The place was very well decorated and you could tell the owners really put their personal care and love into the place. The rooms were small, but the courtyard and garden provided ample room to stretch your legs. The B&B had a homey... More

The rooms are spacious and comfortable and there's always a carafe of sherry and acorn shaped chocolate waiting for me. Breakfast is a freshly prepared event and Don is always there regaling a tale. Florida street is blocks away and... More

We were met at the airport by Don the owner of Acorn and had a very informative tour of Durban. The accommodation was excellent and in an accessible position for most of the sights. Don was a mine of information and helped make our short stay very enjoyable.
