This is a great place to stay in, Don is absolutely wonderful he really goes out of his way to make u feel at home. One of my favourite things about this place is the linen, oh my you just don't want to get out of bed! Will certainly be coming back.

This is an old house, turned into an B&B. I was welcomed at the gate and although my booking was not confirmed the owner made a plan and give me accommodation for the night. He a real warm host and enjoyed every minutes and stayed in the B&B

I loved staying at this B&B. Don, the owner, was great - funny, kind and extremely attentive. The place was very well decorated and you could tell the owners really put their personal care and love into the place. The rooms were small, but the courtyard and garden provided ample room to stretch your legs. The B&B had a homey... More

I go down to Durban fairly often and whenever I do I'll always find my way back to Acorn B&B. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and there's always a carafe of sherry and acorn shaped chocolate waiting for me. Breakfast is a freshly prepared event and Don is always there regaling a tale. Florida street is blocks away and... More

We were met at the airport by Don the owner of Acorn and had a very informative tour of Durban. The accommodation was excellent and in an accessible position for most of the sights. Don was a mine of information and helped make our short stay very enjoyable.

Not being a big fan of B&B's (prefer hotels), I must say I enjoyed my few days that I spent at the Acorn B&B. The rooms are comfortable and and well appointed. It is also closely situated to some of the "in" eating places in Berea and Florida road. Unfortunately there was no wi-fi available and the desks in the... More

The best stay ever in my personal and professional touring experience. The host is a very friendly person and always at his toes to help the guests. I was expecting an official courier and not only the host received on behalf of me but also he took pain in driving to my office to deliver it to me. I appreciate... More

Wonderful and friendly hosts. We can recommend without hesitation. Everything worked. Safe, off road parking is very important. Very central to most Durban attractions. This two day accommodation was a gift from our daughter ........ we did not ask what it cost them!!! We will select ACORN B AND B when next we have to stay over in Durban.
