Really classy and sophisticated hotel, The room was neat and spacious and I liked the decor. The best part of it were the vies from your room balcony. truly spectacular at night! The noise levels were a bit irritating considering the hotel is located on the roadside. Good value though for an over night stay

The staff are willing and friendly, but the rooms, which are well appointed, are noisy. Ours faced the harbour and had good views, but the design reduces your balcony privacy and the lack of double-glazing means the sounds of the busy road below (and disco!) waft straight in - zooming bikes and all. Also, the food is all halaal -... More

We spend 3 nights at coastland on the ridge. The hotel was very nice but the service from some people working there was very poor although the manager did try to do a good job. When ordering food one day we waited for a hour on sandwiches and when some did appear my friends did not so he did not... More

If you want to sleep don't come here we were woken up to what sounded like people shouting at each other because the rooms are joined by a door so it's not sound proof. Just not worth the price.we have stayed at many 4 stars and this doesn't come close:(

We stayed at Coastlands on the Ridge for three nights over the past weekend and found the hotel to be adequate but slightly odd. Check in took a long time and the person assisting us seem really confused by the process. We had to settle the bill on arrival. When asked about ordering extras, the assistant asked that I he... Situated away from the city centre and the beachfront, most rooms (if not all) have great views. The rooms are contemporary and well furnished. Bathroom well designed, but a little cramped with no bath. Huge balconys albeit not adequately furnished and little privacy from neighboring rooms. Food offering is diverse and of a great quality and good value. Room service... More

The hotel was unexpectedly beautiful. The rooms spacious and the breakfast also great. I loved the staff at reception and their helpfulness. The hotel is also within walking distance to musgrave centre, which makes a nice relaxing walk in the neighbourhood. What I found strange is that the rate on bookings.com was 20% cheaper than that that the hotel had... More

My delux room was decorated in boutique style, and on first impression you think that you are in a four star hotel, but dont be fooled. The hotel is very noisy on weekends and it seems to cater for weedings. There was loud music and talking untill early hours of the morning. There was a huge stain on the duvet,... More

We went to a wedding party here and stayed three nights , it is a wonderful hotel , the rooms are nice and well kept , we also had a balcony which was huge with an amazing view of the city. The service was great and it seems to be a hotel used by locals for its food and late... More

What caught my attention right from the start, was the well-appointed room. Dark wood will always please me, and this one was right up my alley. Then I noticed the positively huge balcony with a view over the area. at night the lights work wonders for the soul. I would've slept with door open, but the balcony is not isolated... More
