Reading the other reviews I wonder if I was there on a bad day or I went to a different guest house! I booked a "double king-suite". I was looking forward to my king size bed (what else should one think with a description like that), but found instead two single beds. No bedside lamps. No bar fridge (remember 5... More

This is a five star guesthouse. It only has ten rooms and all the rooms on the ground floor open up onto the pool deck. It's very peaceful and idyllic. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, there is a small continental selection and the hot meal is made to order. There is no dinner or lunch... More

Arrived to a very warm welcome. A Tranquil and romantic setting, felt so relaxed the moment I arrived. Shown to the luxurious and spacious room with the most inviting king size bed. Breakfast was simple yet delicious, compliments to the chef who came to introduce himself. I would highly recommend this place to honeymooners, couples wanting a romantic breakaway and... More

this is definately more like a 4 star hotel than a 'guesthouse'. convenient location (in between Umhlanga and Durban cbd), great decor & overall layout with friendly staff. sleep quality was 1 of the best! great surprise having a security guard on premises when returning to the 'hotel' late in the evening! special mention to Ryan - who was always... Stayed here for 3 nights. Had two rooms booked for my associate and myself. It's about 3/4 kilometers from the riverside three cities hotel, on the same street. It's a guest house but it's run by the three cities management. The breakfast has a decent spread. The rooms are spacious. The bathroom amenities work well. The shampoo, body wash and... More

I went on a trip on business to Durban and I stayed in this hotel for almost 2 weeks. Rooms are very big, with all required facilities. The hotel has a nice swimming pool. The hotel is small but it is a great place. Best thing is the extraordinary staff: all the team is really very kind, and always ready... More

The young man at reception was really kind and helpful. That said, I find it hard after a long trip to arrive at a place and be met before even walking through the door to be told I'm too early and to come back later. I knew we were early and did not expect to be able to check in... More

The hotel is situated in a popular Durban North road only about 10 minutes from the city. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was large and with a verandah overlooking the pool area and has a partial sea view from where we saw a beautiful sunrise. The shower is big and spacious and has really nice finishes....
