I stayed here twice in February 2015, in the Jame Dean and Marilyn Monroe rooms. Each time I was greeted warmly by the owners and made to feel very welcome. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed - I travel with multiple devices and there were plenty of power boards to plug them into! Ok, so the rooms are... More

We were really interested in staying here - and the hotel maybe very nice - but - I called not once but twice (as per the Ph. # on Hotel website). 1st time I got the front desk, he said he was busy with customers, and could he call back in 10 min. No call back! 2 hrs. later I... More

Stayed here for one night, mid-week in February while on a motorcycle trip from LA to the Grand Canyon. My and a riding buddy shared a room with 2-double beds. The property is SUPER-old, and decorated with some kitschy murals depicting Route 66. While the buildings and fixtures look mostly original (1950's), the owners do a great job of keeping... More

we would stay here again in an instant, Sam and Monica are so passionate about the motel and Kingman, and can relate many fascinating stories about both. They have taken on a huge project and are working very hard to maintain the nostalgia of Route 66 and all that..........don't expect a modern room, but embrace the old with the new... More

When I was a kid in the sixties, I took "road trip" vacations. I have very fond memories of the places we stayed, and stopping at all of the Souvenir Shops along the way. This hotel brought back some of those memories, but from a practical standpoint, I wouldn't stay here again, and here's why. 1. The heating unit in... More

I've stayed at Kingman many times on my way from NM-CA. This is my first time here and won't be my last. The owners are so friendly and the dog is so much fun. Sam is so knowledgeable about the area and you can tell he is proud of it too. The hotel stood vacant for a long time and... More

Hospitality, great value, dynamic owners, and Taco that does tricks. Sam and Monica are two of the most gracious motel owners anywhere with Sam's knowledge of the area he will give you the history of the town, show you the best sites in the area, and recommend some great home town cooking in Kingman. Plus the best local shopping spots.... More

Have some fun, drive past the big chains and stay here. The owners dog - cannot remember his name - made the kids laugh when he hunts for his treats. The owners - friendly, chatty. The location and the motel - I can only guess, but I assume it's what you would find on route 66 all those years ago.... More

Love this place, Sam gave us a great run down on the towns history, we spent the afternoon exploring, found the Palace Saloon bar and new years even was accounted for, El Trovatore is has been carefully restored to its route 66 glory days, great value for money and great job Sam and Taco.
