We decided to stay in Kingman for 2 nights to experience a bit of Route 66 on our way from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon South Rim. ...............What a cool Motel........... The owners are great, they will sit you down when you check in and tell you about all the things to do in the area and will help... More

Sam and Monica are the most dedicated and hospitable hosts you can imagine!! After driving 500+ miles, I arrived on a balmy night in Kingman and was greeted with all the charm and character this revived motor lodge has to offer. The exterior walls of the motel are adorned with a map of Route 66 and I especially liked the... More

Stayed here on a recent road trip. Room was very clean and updated. The husband and wife owner were very friendly and helpful--even gave us some detergent to do laundry. They love movies and each room has a different movie star theme. I love the way this place looks. Awesome mural of Route 66 across all of the outside walls.... More

Located on Route 66 in the Kingman old town area this is a Hollywood themed motel offering the 1950’s experience. Whilst not all rooms are themed those that are are based on an actor (with the odd exception of Michael Jackson) and are adequate in size with the back overlooking scrubland and the impressive railroad, with the front having some... When your traveling route 66 its hard to get into the spirit of the drive without going into a period correct lodge. If your like me then you've been spoiled by all the window-dressing modern day hotels have. With the El Trovatore Motel its for sure the place to go. We got there late but the husband and wife team... More

Took an enjoyable little two day trip from Phoenix- Grand Canyon - Flagstaff- Williams & Kingman, AZ .. We found this cute little motel in Kingman on Historic Route 66. The hand-painted murals on all exterior walls of this unique place caught our attention -- built in 1937. Inside the unit = nice hard wood floor & very spacious room... More

We stayed here as a stop between Las Vegas and the Skywalk. It was such a gem! We were late getting in and so got to chat with the owner for quite some time. He was absolutely delightful and very knowledgable about the area. The room was fairly small but you can't beat the price. The bed was super comfortable.... More

Me, my husband and two daughters (ages 17 & 19) stayed overnight on our way from the Grand Canyon to Las Vegas. For the price, it's OK. Owner was very nice and informative about Kingman - He's quite a character! Room was very dated, but worked. TV had issues - fuzzy picture and vibrated when turned up. Beds were comfortable.... I am so glad I decided to stay at this motel as we traveled on Route 66. Historical and Fun! Kids love the cartoon characters painted on the walls and the adults may like the history. The owners are wonderful people and love to share their time and hospitality. Stayed in the Bugsy Siegel room and it was all we... More
