The Rozenhof is well-situated, has charming period decor, and beautiful gardens, although during my 3 day stay none of the garden furniture was clean enough to sit outside in the sun. I arrived during "load shedding," (rolling blackouts) This knocked out the power to the electric plugs and wi-fi in my room for the duration of my stay. This was... More

On the 1 November we had a 50th birthday party at Rozenhof for 26 ladies. The food was good, but the service was terrible from the start. The attitude of the management was shocking and unprofessional. Not recommended at all to have a function at Rozenhof.

I have stayed at Rozenhof several times when visiting Pretoria with my family. I have always found it to be extremely comfortable, with great service form the lovely staff. The food is delicious with homemade cakes and cookies every day. The setting is very pretty and its location ideal.

When we arrived (tired from a day of travel) the staff immediately made us feel at home-as they finished tidying our room, we were served tea and cookies on the back patio. The tea was amazing, and the cookies to die for! (The baker is extraordinary!) The house itself has fabulous antiques everywhere you look, from the beautiful chandelier to... More

Arrived at the Rozenhof earlier than planned. We were made to feel very welcome, given a complementary breakfast and then informed that our room was ready. All of the staff were wonderfully courteous and could not do enough for us. We were only staying one night in Pretoria so ate at the B&B. The food was simple and homely but... More

Stayed at this bed an breakfast for 2 weeks in August and another 2 weeks in October. Loved it! There are only 7 rooms, each with lots of class and charm. Beautiful garden. Hot breakfast every morning. Neighborhood is wonderful and safe. Went running around the streets every chance i got. With the jacaranda in bloom, it was gorgeous. Wifi... More

Attended a 2-day workshop at the venue. With lots of tiles and big windows, the venue is pretty cold. Turning on the air-conditioners, does not really help, as the noise factor makes it difficult to hear the other speakers. On the up side, the chocolate desert was the saving grace.

This is one of my favorite places to stay while in Pretoria. The Guest house in the suburb of Brooklyn and is a gem. There are 7 guest rooms and 2 villas (better for families with kids). The breakfasts are custom made for each guest and dinners can be ordered for an extra change. The staff remembers every guest by... More

Fantastic place to stay for 2 weeks. Food, service, attention, speedof wifi, CNN, movies - you get the customer service you wish for. Kept my valuables locked up - saw no need to tempt anyone. This is the place of choice for a businessman or woman.
