I had the privilege to be spoilt today at this amazing restaurant. Germain made this an extra special occasion by showing us the Tiffany Room. For any art connoisseur and food lover this is a place you would love. I am still in awe of this amazing place and will most definitely visit regularly. Thank you to the Mosaic team!

We spoiled ourselves with a stay at The Orient Private Hotel, situated on the Francolin Conservancy, just south west from Pretoria. We were booked into the Samarkand suite, about 55m2 in size, which certainly met all the expectations of what a royal suite should have on offer. Before the scrumptious dinner, prepared by multiple award winning chef, Chantel Dartnall, we... More

Magnificent. Unbelievably ROYAL. The Orient is an exquisite place where nothing is spared to make you, the guest, feel like- and experience royalty. The hotel in its entirety is just superb. The atmosphere maintained there is of distinction and class, from entering the main gate , reception and service right through to and with reluctantly departing. The rooms are unique,... More

Entering the property really does feel like one has been magicked into an ancient land and that you have been taken in for refuge by a kindly Sheikh or Raja! The imposing terracotta walls, massive wooden gates and beautifully manicured gardens set the perfect tone for the rest of one's experience at the Orient. The experience is luxurious, intimate, comfortable,... More

Dear MeerkatV Thank you for taking the time to write this sincere review. We are really happy to hear that you enjoyed your visit to Restaurant Mosaic and The Orient, but would however like to apologise for the incident regarding the wine servive. Our sommelier wasn't quite himself, as he, was preparing for his Cape Wine Masters exam. It was... More

This Moroccan Riad style hotel counts with an excellent service. High standards and deliciously decorated rooms. The restaurant Mosaic is something special. A perfect place for fine dining and wine tasting with an expert chef. Breakfast next day was fabulous as well.

My wife and I spent the weekend at the Hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary. What a magical experience. From arrival and the warm welcome by co-owner, Mari to the marvelous service by the dedicated staff for whom any request was delivered promptly and with a smile. Our suite was spectacular and luxurious. The whole ambiance amazing. To find a... More

Arriving here is like visiting an old friend that will bend over backwards to meet your every need. Surrounded by wild life the magnificent estate and buildings are exquisite . The Marrakech remains my favourite suite with a bathroom to die for! Service is superb and nothing is too much to ask for. Mari is an excellent hostess and all... More

Chantel and her team continue to creat the best fine dinning and wine pairing in Gauteng. The choice of 3 set menu options ( each with there own special track ) is unique and sets the tone for attention to detail and quality. The table of 6 were treated to creative and complex meals that were match with a unique... More

Fantastic. From the time you arrive until you leave you're taken care of in the most unobtrusive way yet feel utterly spoilt. Dinner at Mosiac is however the highlight. Flavours, aromas and sensations all top drawer. How they arent on the cover of every foodie magazine is inexplicable. Do not miss an opportunity to go.

I was invited to a Woman's Day lunch and the venue was The Orient. WOW, what a complete surprise. The décor and the rooms are spectacular and the service was excellent.
