We stayed for 2 nights and what a great hotel all round ! Attending a gourmet 4 course wine pairing dinner with Graham Beck wines was one of many highlights; 2nd night Mike Bassets Myoga was our choice for dinner which also lived up to expectations - rooms are well appointed and very spacious! Arguable the best eggs Benedict in... More

This is an excellent hotel with real historical credentials, as first occupied by english nobility in the 1700s & more recently by english celebrities i.e the england football team during the south african world cup. Top notch rooms, lovely bathroom with separate bath & shower, good access to satellite tv, beautiful gardens & a view of table mountain to die... More

We stayed here for two nights. They were busy with renovations in certain areas (one being the hallway in which our room was located) but this wasn't too much of a hassle. The view is really spectacular. You are surrounded by mountains and forget you are in the city. There is a beautiful trail you can walk where you can... More

Everything you hope to expect from a hotel, especially the fine dining. The evening dining a perfect atmosphere with the piano and a glass of wine from their good wine collection. After breakfast you can walk in the amazing garden, with flowing water or simply enjoy it from the patio with the mountain view .

Great service, sport facilities, excellent rooms, excellent service. But the main thing I like the most is that they have much attention to detail. For the price you pay I can't think of a better hotel in that area.

Flights from Heathrow Terminal 4 with Qatar Airways were excellent. The journey via Doha, Joburg to Cape Town, long, but plenty of food, water, alcoholic drinks, films, gentle and soothing music etc. A peacefull night flight. We were collected from Cape Town Airport by a Vineyard Hotel driver in a beautifull Mercedes, (small extra cost). Our Vineyard hotel room was... More

This 4-star beautiful hotel in the lush and leafy suburbs of Newlands was my stay-at recently during a business trip in Cape Town. From the outside, it looks like any ordinary out-of-town hotel, but then your meet very welcoming porters and professional receptionists. The rooms are big, clean and modern. If you like the early morning bird chirps, then this'... More

We have been staying there on and off for the last 15 years. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and welcoming. If you are lucky enough to get one with a mountain view... heavenly!!! The staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much for them. Conveniently situated, close to highways, shopping centres, Kirstenbosch Gardens, restaurants etc. The views... More

We spent quite a few days there. Slept, ate, drank, worked & relaxed. The staff were all treasures! Really happy & helpful. Good spot! The setting, views, whole ambiance was stunning. Shame no cricket to wander over to see!

I thought the Vineyard Hotel was perfect for my needs. I was attending a Conference at Kirstenbosch Gardens and the Hotel was perfectly placed. The Room was very well appointed and comfortable, with seperate shower and bath, which is exactly what I require. The Food was very well prepared and presentation was excellent. I will certainly recommend this Hotel to... More
