We stay at the Vineyard every time we are in Cape Town and have never been disappointed. The setting is about as good as it gets with views of the mountain, lovely gardens that run down to a river and beautiful buildings. This 4 star hotel provides excellent service provided by friendly staff and has a couple of restaurants and... More

My room at The Vineyard was perfection at this rate. The room and bathroom were spacious and everything I required were provided except for a powerful hair dryer. I have stayed at Angsana hotels in the past and the only other recommendation I can make is to add some bath salts to the toiletries to remind one that you are... More

The Vineyard oozes relaxation, charm, friendliness and welcome in equal amounts from the moment one steps into the lobby. Cool high ceiling end rooms, great comfort and excellent service within to which is added a glorious garden with amazing views that are a far cry from the usual cityscape. The food is high quality and breakfast or afternoon tea on... More

I stayed four nights here and the service was second to none, the room beyond reproach and the food in the restaurant excellent. This is how hotels should be run. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Simply excellent.

The Vineyard is an excellent choice for both business and leisure travel - this was our third visit. The hotel is well-positioned in Cape Town, with spectacular views of Table Mountain, surrounded by lush, beautiful gardens along the Liesbeek River. The staff are friendly and efficient and the rooms are modern, comfortable and well-appointed. The restaurants are good, and the... More

Set in the suburbs the hotel has extensive grounds with lovely mountain views. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Go for the rooms overlooking the mountain - the view is much nicer than those overlooking the courtyard garden. Easy walk to Cavendish Shopping Centre. If you are a family splash out on the enormous... More

We attended a food and wine appreciation evening hosted with Creation wines. The kitchen provided a super 5 course meal served with excellent Creation wines. The venue is centrally situated in Cape Town and the hotel provides excellent accommodation. We stayed in a modern double room overlooking the garden and mountain. The room was comfortable with bath and shower. The... More

The friendliest hotel in Cape Town everyone here makes us feel extremely welcome on arrival every time we visit! So great for families and also fine for business visits to Cape Town. Located the "far side" of Table Mountain there are fantastic views of this mountain and this side everything is green and lush. Garden is very nice with three... More

This is my fourth trip to the Vineyard and it has been very constantly at a high level. Its understandable why it receives great reviews. The setting is not central Cape Town but it loses nothing for that. The gardens are far better than anything in town can offer. It has become my preferred destination whenever I am in Cape... More

While on business trip, I stayed only a couple of nights at the Vineyard and wish I could have stayed longer. The hotel is a little gem hidden just outside Cape Town, the gardens are very nice and the pool side is so relaxing! Dinner in the main restaurant Myoga was great, we chose the tasting menu with matching wines,... More
