Ah...what's not to love about this place? The beautiful building. The lush gardens. The breakfast terrace. The rooms. I really loved my stay here. So much so that on my last trip to CT, I asked if my company could pleaaaaaase book me in there instead. Unfortunately they'd already paid for accommodation, so it wasn't possible. I will be back... We have travelled to many countries in the world and stayed in many 4 and the occasional 5 star hotel, but for some reason when I return to this hotel as we have done for the last 6/7 years during the months of Feb or March I always feel I have arrived home. The gardens are delightful and the pool... More

From the minute we checked in we were made to feel very special! Our room was large and spacious and extremely well equipped. The service in ALL areas of the hotel was helpful, professional and faultless. I would not hesitate to stay there again. The restaurant was of an exceptionally high standard and the breakfast buffet the best I had... More

The Vineyard is an excellent hotel in every way. The staff are superb and can not do enough to help or make your visit a success. The rooms are very comfortable and the facilities first class. Food in the restaurants is always a delight and the variety on offer is most impressive. The hotel setting is really beautiful and the... More

Needing a hotel in a hurry we booked here for 3 nights. I expected it to be ok but we were amazed at how good this hotel was. The staff are excellent. Rooms better than imagined. The food was fantastic and really well priced, and a wine list to match. Only regret is having to leave. If I can get... More

The Vineyard is one of my all time favourite hotels. The location is absolutely stunning with great views of mountains and a glorious and very well kept garden plus a good pool. Added to this the service is spot on, welcoming and reminiscent of that in a Cape Town version of Downton Abbey. Breakfast or afternoon tea on the patio... More

It's a beautiful hotel in a charming elegant way, the staff are all amazing the breakfast service, the rooms service the restaurants are always full of people, the bars the varanders etc, chilled yet vibey in a quiet sophisticated way. Your car gets fetched from the parking, there are apples for the guests in a chilled casket, the coffee machines... More

We had a great time at the hotel. Stayed in a junior suite, very secluded, even had a tortoise visitor! Service level is very high as is generally in Cape Town area. The food on offer is good but not great. Room service is very prompt. The hotel can be quite busy so outdoor sitting maybe difficult to come by.... More

I stayed here on a Thursday night in early March 2015 for around R3000 (single, standard room, bed & breakfast). Clearly a grande old dame of Cape Town hotels, with a lovely outdoor pool, spectacular gardens against the backdrop of Table Mountain/Chapmans Peak and hundreds of rooms of different quality. I was first showed to room 320 which is spacious... More

There is nothing wrong here. We had such a blast. The view from our room was magnificent. Pricey but worth it. Nothing is too much for the staff. Will most definitely recommend this hotel for one night to a weekend away.
