Wild Olive is a big old house, that allows me to feel at home. My home away from home when in CT. I stay here on business and when on holiday with my family. I have stayed here every month for the past year. Four reasons why I prefer staying at Wild Olive when in Cape Town. Friendly, organised staff.... More

This is the second time I have stayed at Wild Olive. Both times, my booking was handled with efficiency and my room was extremely comfortable. A really delicious breakfast is served daily which I thoroughly enjoyed. I will always stay there when in Cape Town.

The house is a beautiful restored Cape Town home with great amenities. Great breakfast and a reasonably priced evening meal if you want to stay home and just relax. The staff are really amazing and Gillian an absolute star!. I have stayed here for the last six months two nights a week and previously for a year at two nights... More

The location really is perfect for watching a game at Newlands. It is so close (walking distance) that the crowd on the stadium can be heard all the way to the room, too. We had a room at the top and it was nice, peaceful and comfortable, even if not extremely big. The house is old and traditional, but cute... More

We stayed here for 3 days in May as we wanted to be close to the Newlands Stadium. Our accommodation was beautiful, comfortable, clean - a home away from home. It was very safe, quiet and private. The staff were wonderful and always accommodating. We will definitely stay here again. We found it very relaxing - a great way to... More

I stayed here for a week with my mother and my teenage daughter. We were warmly welcomed by staff and were able to leave our bags in the office before our check in time. Throughout our stay the staff were always very helpful and if we needed anything they were always able to provide it. This included gluten free options... More

Lovely welcome, very nice rooms, superb breakfast and very clean pool area. We loved our stay and would happily return. A few miles from CT centre, but an easy 15 minute drive and no issue to us. A tiny criticism is that the soundproofing between rooms is not great, but it's a minor thing and is heavily outweighed by the... More

I have visited the Wild Olive several times in the past. It is an excellent B&B. You very much get the feeling that you are visiting your family! The rooms are well-equipped with a fair-sized outdoor pool. Breakfast is of a high quality and the staff is unfailingly friendly. Its location makes it ideal for the rugby and cricket stadia... More
