Beautiful setting, luxurious room. But unfortunately management and service delivery did not meet expectations. The food and the bar is not 5 star standard. The spa however was up to standard and well designed with professional staff.

This weekend we went for a quick break to get away from the city and also to celebrate Woman's Day.We went to the Kloofzicht Spa for a lovely day of rejuvenation and relaxation. From the minute we arrived the staff were friendly and attend to our every need. We were waited on hand and foot and enjoyed every second of... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our team building session there. The rooms (luxury suites) were large and commodious, and the gas fireplace absolutely rocked. They could definitely have had more boardgames in better nick and the baby grand piano needs a tune. The spa was amazing - great massages and therapists. Food in the hotel was delicious and the desserts even better.... More

We stayed one night and overall really enjoyed it. Huge room with fabulously warm gas fireplace and big TV in front. From the verandah , there were a lots of birds to watch but hardly any animals( did see a cute family of warthogs on the road) Lack of Attention to detail and battling with wifi signals( was just not... Very cozy atmosphere. Lovely setting, with beautiful views of the surrounding hills and trouts dams. The function was in the wine cellar, which in itself was very nice. The food was well prepared and very tasty..... all the courses as well as the palet cleansers were heavenly. Some issues in the room (missing globes and lights out in the bedroom... More

Wonderful weekend getaway in a fabulous location amongst all the hills. Our room was quite large with a gas fireplace which we looked forward too when the sun went down. Ended up having to call the front desk as fireplace nor room heater worked. Was tended to immediately. Only a fuse or switch thrown. Room was good and toasty in... More

A lot of establishments claim to be "just outside Johannesburg" but this one really is. It is an easy drive to get there and once at the lodge, it has a great country setting. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. We found the shower in our unit a bit of a disappointment. The restaurant is good although I would not classify... More

We stayed there for a weekend just to get away from the city. It really was an incredible stay! The room was really big and the bathroom was by far the most spectacular I have ever seen!! Such a special place and I would definitely stay here again!

We were out on a jaunt and decided to try out luck opting for lat lunch at Kloofzicht... they were fully booked but the gate suggested we try their bar lunch. Having wended our way past warthog and giraffe we arrived at the lodge - which does look a little corporate but has spectacular views up the kloof. The staff... More

This has a wonderful setting with trout fishing lakes surrounded by hills, giraffe, hartebeest & baboons can easily be seen, because of the lakes there is an abundance of bird life too. The lodges are beautifully appointed and they all seem to have balconies from which to appreciate the view. Brett the Chef did an excellent job of cooking trout... More
