Words cannot describe this gem just outside Johannesburg. Expect nothing less than 5 star in the Cradle of Humankind. We visited this establishment for a romantic getaway and they did everything they could to make our visit memorable. From the butler welcoming us a the car, the beautiful room, the gastronomic experience at the Roots restaurant this is a sure... More

We spent a Sunday night here it being a special at present. The hotel is beautifully situated in the highveld and discreet. beautiful rock work and roof gardens. The room is very spacious and a gas heater kept us nice and warm during the night. King size bed, big oval bath, two showers all added to make it very posh.... More

Stayed in the Presidential Suite, however all suites had outstanding qualities and complete privacy. Suites are a little quirky but in a good and stylish way. We went in winter and the suite had two very chic fireplaces. Loved being on a game estate and the hippo sounds at night really gave it that African Vibe. Dinner was a wonderful... More

My gf and i went to Forum Homini for 1 night on a Saturday mid winter for our anniversary. The drive from JHB is easy and not too far took us +/-1h with traffic. Room: The Room is spacious, very comfortable, bath huge, 2 showers, bed massive, was cold but the fire place worked like a charm. Cannot complain at... More

Very quiet and relaxing with excellent service and sublime food. Give yourself plenty time for the meals as they are served in courses which takes a while. We attended a food and wine paring evening - unfortunately the wine was a bit disappointing.

We stayed at Forum Homini as part of a rewards trip. The rooms are unique in every aspect and I love the decor. Little extra's like the complimentary snacks were quite a surprise as with most 5 star establishments you need to pay for every single little thing. The rooms are comfortable and spacious and the shower to die for.... More

Fantastic service, beyond incredible fine dining food and generally wonderful in every way! We took the last minute special deal and was absolutely worth the cost. What a wonderful break away from real life, I cannot rave enough about every aspect of our stay. Even the breakfast was one of the most memorable and perfect meals I've ever eaten. Can't... More

We stayed here for one night as a couple for our wedding anniversary. This is a beautiful and secluded location. Very peaceful and away from the city noise. The interior of the rooms are faultless and so modern, we stayed in one of the presidential suites. Had a bath in the room, shower with two shower heads and you can... More

This delightful little hotel is set in a wildlife estate minutes away from the city rush. We stayed over on a Friday evening and was lucky enough that it was one of their wine pairing evenings at Roots. The onsite restaurant offers one of the best food experiences I've ever had. It was a 5 course adventure and worth every... More

I am always in two minds whether to host a business event at a venue like this... If your team needs to really get away within a short distance from a major city this is perfect. Accommodation is over the top for a business sleep over so create time for your team to relax and enjoy - perhaps let them... More
