Clean hotel with nice rooms. Hot water for showers and coffee and tea facilities. Very cold one night but hot water bottles were provided. Wake up to ostriches and impala in the morning which is nice. Free transport to and from airport. Only thing that is not good is that no food facilities. Nearest supermarket is a 20min walk or... I really loved this hotel. The staff were amazing and very accomodating. The rooms were clean and had a beautiful view on the private game reserve the hotel owns. I could feed impalas, ostriches and other herbivores. There's a pool and hammocks everywhere on the site. Good breakfast. Although there is no restaurant on site, they offer great options for... A very friendly place that was small enough to help me easily meet other people on my g adventures tour. I hadn't anticipated how cold it would be so make sure you've got a jumper! The only negative for me was that I arrived at 8.30am and didn't get into the room until just before 3pm due to laundry complications.... More

The hotel was a lovely surprise. We paid the little bit extra - $10 - for a deluxe room and it was well worth it. Lots of room and very nice finishings. It was pleasant to sit and watch the game out in the field and the breakfast was very good. All of the staff were courteous, pleasant and helpful.... More

Everything was good. Nice clean rooms with all you need, breakfast was excellent, staff kind and helpful. Was nice to watch animals in the mornings, and pup 'whats up' always there to greet you. Front desk could set you up for tours of outlying areas and wifi was fair. Really appreciated the pick up and drop off to airport.

Myself and 2 grandchildren had such a LOVELY stay at the Lodge - we wish it could have been longer - we'll be back asap. The staff were so helpful and so kind to the children, the room was warm, with heater and hot water bottles, very welcome after a long car trip from Zim, breakfast was yummy! The kids... More

Arriving late in the evening, in South-African winter (July), we were picked up by someone of the lodge from the Jburg OR Tambo airport to the lodge. The guy wore a construction helmet with big sign on it with our names on. A nice welcome. He drove us to the lodge and we were shown our rooms. Very well-equipped and... More

What a lovely place to start or end a business trip or vacation. Beautiful rooms, spotlessly clean, good breakfast with a variety of foods, and to top it all the view and clean air to breathe in. peace and tranquility and a Border Collie young dog with the warmest welcome.

We stayed here before and after our G-adventures trek and despite the bad reviews we found it a sweet quaint place. The animals are sweet, the crazy sheepdog is funny and the facilities are really good and the staff nice. There are a few downsides but if you follow the tips given by reviewers you'll avoid disappointment. Showers... take a... More

There are only a few thing to say that stood out. 1. Thomas, the gentleman who picked us up from the airport, checked us in and showed us to our room. He was outstanding, helpful and pleasant. 2. What's Up. The dog that roams the property is all wags when she lays eyes on you. 3. The animals on the... More
