We stayed at the Avon Road Guest House for one night in August and we can absolutely recommend this B & B. The room and bathroom were spacious and very clean. Moreover, we enjoyed Christine`s hospitality, our wonderful dinner with her as well as her delicious breakfast. Thanks so much!

The proprietor of the Avon Road Guest House has air fresheners in every possible nook and cranny of the facility. Some spray a mist every few minutes into the room, some scented mist bubbles up from what looks like a boiling bowl. In addition, the bedding is bathed in excess fabric softener/fabric freshener. Christine and Clive made us feel at home. They are wonderful hosts. The rooms were clean, comfy and cozy. Christine and clive cooked for us a great BBQ dinner and breakfest was a pure pleasure aswell.We had a great time with them. They took care of us as if we are family. Best value for yor

Elegantly decorated rooms using strong African theme, opening onto attractive pool area, garden and “club house.” Space was a little tight since large king-sized bed filled the room, and shelves housed decorative items which detracted from their usefulness. We stayed here on two separate nights during our stay in South Africa. The B&B is conveniently close to the airport, in a quiet residential neighborhood.
