I was dissapointed. For the price I expected better value. The receptionist was ill informed and was unable without reverting to others to, for example provide details re meals and WIFI. Lamp in room not working and no hand soap in bathroom.

Hi Its surprizing that you complain now for I was there myself when you complained about the TV and bedlamp. Im sure you must have pushed the wrong buttons for there was nothing wrong with the TV. Only have to put it on AV........Then when I asked you if I must repair or replace the bedlamp you said " No... More

I booked this B & B based on reviews posted on Tripadvisor and I must say it turned out to be a disappointment. It was OK for one night. The pro's..... within easy reach of the N1, and a couple of restaurants within walking distance. The bedding and towels were of excellent quality and good condition and the facilities were... More

We stayed here overnight on our drive from Durban to Cape Town. Was R750 including breakfast compared to R1300 for the major hotels in Bloemfontein. Comfortable enough sleep and very clean rooms. Easy access to the N1 and within walking distance to a small shopping centre for meals. Honesty bar system that worked well. Some minor 'quirks' included front desk... More

Thank you for your review. I do apologise for the staff that was shouting to each other in the early morning hours. I will definitly discuss this with them and make sure it doesn't happen again. Due to unforseen circumstances I had to appoint a new lady on the 1st of January. I am sorry to hear that she struggled... More

On arrival we were checked in by the housekeepers that struggled to find their way around the computer and our reservation made in advance. The Lodge is clean and above average for the rates they charge. Service? Maybe they must change their name to: The Self Help Golf Lodge. The bar is self help which is not a problem, but... More

Hi Thanks for the review. Its always very helpful to read our guests comments. We had some problems over the festive season and do apologise for that. Some staff went on holiday and one had to resign for personal reasons. You know, sometimes things just happen and we had to deal with a few challenges. We apologise for the badly... More

It's not often you find a b&b that works perfectly for a family. Our room was a double which led into a twin room that fitted a cot and a good sized bathroom. other rooms were also generous sizes. Just watch out as there are lots of little steps everywhere which could be a bit more clearly marked. Breakfast was... More

Great Suite for Family on stopover to the Cape - Only wish we had been there longer to enjoy it. We arrived after 8 and left before breakfast as it was a long journey. Pool and bar area looked inviting and it was all neat and tidy

At The Golf Lodge you can expect a very luxurious, golf themed, stay. The lodge is easy accessible from the N1, and is the perfect over night stay for the long road to Cape Town. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is a swimming pool and a bar. Friendly staff contributes to the success of the lodge! Highly recommended!

We stayed overnight at The Golf Lodge, and it was possibly the best stay we've ever had. I was travelling with my husband and 18 month old daughter, and we stayed over for 1 night in November 2014. We stayed in the St. Andrews suite and we were not disappointed! There was a very comfortable queen sized bed with two... More

Easy to find as it is close to N1 - perfect for a nights stop over. The staff were friendly. The rooms were luxurious and so comfy! Great facilities with gorgeous pool and lots of off street parking and the breakfast the next morning was extensive and delicious. The golf theme might not be for everyone but I will definitely... The Golf Lodge is the "home from home" in Bloem. Friendly hosts and staff. Thanks Jan and Desiree, for another enjoyable stay! See you gain in future. Highly recommended for any size of party, inclusive of larger parties.
