We stayed for 2 nights with 3 adults and 4 kids and found lots to do at Oyster Bay. We particularly enjoyed the wonderful beach horse ride, fabulous to be the only people on the beach and the horses were excellent for our 6-9 year olds. We also loved walking and playing on the dunes. So much more to do!... More

Beautiful independently owned farm turned into a lodge. Fantastic natural surrounds, a private beach, horse riding and birdwatching. We were upgraded to a luxury chalet and were impressed by the friendly and professional service. Great place for peace and quiet.

Oyster Bay Lodge is the most awesome place to stay at. I never had such amazing and luxury vacation in my life. It's not just the place itselfs, it's the staff and everything. Starting at the day of my arrival...I had the most warmth and heartly welcome ever. The staff memeber Danielle showed me around and answered every single question... More

I do not believe this lodge warrants the 4 stars it advertises. 1. Absolutely no cupboard space 2. Rooms and diningroom infested with flies 3. Quality of water very poor (brown) 4. Breakfast very slow

This is a slice of heaven. A safe place to just walk around, hang on the beach with your beloveds hand in yours. Secluded, out of town. Luxury and the food is amazing. What more do you want?! Definitely worth a trip. I'll be back for sure!

We were looking to get away from it all to a stunning beach location. It certainly is away from it all where it is a good 24 km's by dirt road to the hotel (once you get to the nearest "tar connected town") - all in all about 1.5 hours from Port Elizabeth. Some of the dirt road sections are... More

We were warmly welcomed to the lodge and taken to our chalet which was rustic with elegant finishes, very nice. A particular staff member Danielle went out of her way to ensure we had a good stay; she was attentive, provided brilliant customer service and honestly created a 5 Star experience for my family. Anything we requested was delivered directly... More

Oyster bay lodge is a hidden gem in the midst of nature: a beach so pure and empty you won't believe such a paradise still exists until you are there. Great rooms and very good service. Make sure to book for dinner!

Hans and his team run a very professional set up .The B&B is set on a farm which is some 250 hectares in size with many of the old buildings converted in rooms. There is 3.5 km of wild beach front to wander or ride over on horseback . the horses roam freely about the buildings and will enter your... More

It's hell getting there but the reward is so fenomonale. Warm hospitatlity, nice rooms and a fantastic environment combined with good activities and possibilties to enjoy and relax makes this a great place to stay. Owww, don't forget the good food and nice staff :-). the only downside on our trip was the seamist witch lasted for almost 2 days... More
