Stayed hear on the way out of monument valley. Very pleased. The room was a little on the small side for 4 adults (kids 19 & 20) and at $149+ tax couldn't afford 2 rooms. It all looks fairly new. The reception area was very impressive and so was the resturant. You do worry that in such a small place... More

We were very pleasantly surprised with The Hampton at Kayenta. Being a chain hotel we expected dull but got great. The hotel is qute modern but very pleasantly designed and decorated. The staff are really friendly (not something you always find on the Navajo lands) and the room was excellent. Really spacious bedroom and bathroom, comfortable bed and absolutely spotless.... More

This is a very nice Hampton Inn, with the added benefit of a "real" restaurant in-house. It only serves dinner, but it has some very nice options, and while a bit pricey, is less expensive than some of its neighbors (i.e. Goulding's.) The service was very friendly and relatively fast. It's about twenty miles from Monument Valley, so a good... More

My husband and I stayed here for three days during our week long AZ tour. We chose Kayenta for its distance to Mesa Verde, Monument Valley, and the Grand Canyon. We found the rooms to be clean and comfortable. The staff was also friendly. The free breakfast items included cereal, oatmeal, pasteries, fruit, and a "hot" item (slightly warm). The... More

This is THE place to stay during a trip to Monument Valley. Kayenta is in a very romote area, and this hotel is an oasis. Very clean, friendly staff, comfortable beds and the water is softened.

I just want to thank the previous reviewers for making this an easy pick for a one night stay. It easily lived up to the great reviews and the food was fine.

The hotel is almost brand new. Clean, clean and crisp bed and room done in an indian motiff. Everything you need is right there. They have a wonderful selection of meals all day long,, and they include a free breakfast!!! NOT your typical continental garb. Also have a giftshop on site. The area around Monument Valley is pretty desolate,, THIS... More

Well, it's the only place to stay in all of Northern Arizona as far as I'm concerned. The room was excellent, the bed was super comfy, service was excellent, the decor was Native American Indian, the dining room was beautifully decorated and the food was terrific! We had a great Black Angus steak and shrimp dinner for $9.95 and everything... More

We stayed here for two nights during our trip touring Vegas, Grand Canyon, Monument Valley and LA and have just returned. This place is absolutely one of the best hotels that I have stayed in. It is very new and spotlessly clean. Our room was immaculate with wonderful towels and bathroom products. The breakfasts were wonderful, however the restaurant for... More

Spent 2 weeks in the southwest. The Hampton Inn Kayenta was one of the best motels we stayed in. We didn't have any complaints at all. The room was clean and comfortable. On previous trips to Monument Valley we stayed in Gouldings more for the scenery than anything. I think our next trip will be at the Hampton Inn again.... More
