room 209, King Newer Hampton; building both in & out done in pleasing Southwestern/Native American style. Usual amenities but made above average by the exceptional lobby, lounge, and eating areas. There is an attractive pool/patio area but was unusable during our stay due to high winds. The Native American themed gift shop just off the entrance is very nice, There... More

The Hampton Inn in Kayenta is a rare gem that offers a taste of the Monument Valley western experience with the hospitality and guaranty of Hampton Inns 100% satisfaction. The full service restaurant offers both traditional and native American fair. The entire staff is committed to satisfying their guests stay while visiting Monument Valley.

Stayed for 1 night so that we could visit Monument Valley. Arrived late and tired to frosty reception from check in receptionist. Accomodation excellent but looked like relatively new hotel. Bed comfortable. Room size good. Breakfast with usual waffles, cereals etc. At check out again staff had no communication skills.

I rate this property "very good" because of the overall quality of the room and common areas. The service was distant and impersonal. This hotel caters to bus tour groups and they seemed to be doing a good job serving them. As a single perhaps I wasn't important enough to provide great service. Another peeve is the bedroom window that... More

If you travel through Monument Valley, this or the hotel in Monument Valley are the best options. The hotel is clean. The free breakfast is excellent. Stay on the top floor if available. The single elevator is a little slow but that's fine. Wireless works well. The staff is friendly. The restaurant for dinner is good but sometime very busy.... More

This really could be a nice place to stay, they have obviously worked hard to set high standards of finish, cleanliness and decor But....... The staff make it a frustrating place to visit. From the moment I made the reservation directly by phone the people at the hotel were dismissive and inconsiderate. The agent who took my call got the... More

We were driving from Moab, UT to Page, AZ and chose Kayenta as a stopping point. The hotel is pretty new, so it's quite good for the area. It has an ok restaurant (separately reviewed), a gift shop (where you have to pay your restaurant bill for some reason), and a small pool. The room was clean. I liked the... More

The room temperature was great. The rooms were clean. It was quiet. Watch for the locals trying to get in your rooms!!! Not too far from Monument Valley. They don't stock your bathroom with anything but soap and shampoo not enough for 2 guests. Complimentary Breakfast was okay. Not much for health conscious people, other than fruit.

We stayed for two nights in April 2013. Great location for Monument Valley trip. Room was nice and well appointed and customer service was good and friendly. Small issue re long waiting time in restaurant for dinner, but this was due to the earlier arrival of a coach load of other tourists who had a blocked booked earlier dinner slot... More

We stayed last night at this fine property after calling ahead to reserve a room. We were greeted warmly by Daryl at the front desk, and given keys to a lovely room. We had requested a small frig for medical reasons, and within ten minutes it was brought in by Tony, the maintenance chief. He also inspected the tv which... More
