This place is nice and clean, but overpriced. The review by Steve J is dead on. Breakfast was nice, but unremarkable. Take heed. If you are visiting Monument Valley, try to get a reservation at the View Hotel. If you cannot, the Hampton is your next best bet. Expect to pay too much, since all the places overcharge.

The hotel is very well maintained. It's clean. I was very impressed with that considering the volume of people it must see with tour groups. We had dinner in the restaurant which was a nice experience. There aren't a lot of restaurants in Kayenta so eating at the restaurant is a nice experience. I know the hotels in the Monument... More

We paid $224.36 for ONE night here on a single room with two double beds. And that's with the AAA discount, and with the taxes included. All hotels along the US-160 through the Navajo Reservation are the same price. PROS: The staff was still very friendly, the rooms are still clean, the breakfast was still the same full, hot breakfast.... More

The beauty of the Hampton Inn chain is that you can always count on them being pretty OK. Not inventive. Not elegant. Nothing surprising. But just a pretty high quality of high standards. Friendly, helpful staff. However, considering the location - rural Arizona - where most of the motels and restaurants are surprising, and not in a good way (often... More

Great stay, very convenient and close to Monument Valley. Hotel room was clean with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good with lots of options. Fitness area was one of the better ones on our vacation. Would definitely stay here again if I were in the area.

This is a very comfortable hotel (and we stayed at 9 between Phoenix, Bryce, Zion, N. Rim of GrandCanyon all the way to the White Mountains). The hotel was comparable to the better hotels on our trip, but the Hampton's restaurant food was far above the rest. The Navajo staff were friendly and efficient, no beer or wine available in... Great facility, but don't plan to use the "business center" take your own computer. Otherwise very nice, clean facility with friendly staff. Now this wants more characters, what a silly review to just fill up space.

If my dad didn't use his HH points, this place would cost more than most other HIs in the country. Fortunately, this place does live up to the Hampton standards, though for most folks, you're one hour ahead because Navajo Nation follows MDT. Anyway, this place was fine for one night, though most HIs are among the best in the... More

Stayed here for a night before visiting to Monument Valley the following day. We booked 2 rooms but when we checked in, we were told that one of the rooms was not booked. Good job we had a copy of written confirmation received from them with us then! Still, after about 10 minutes' wait by the front desk, they managed... More

When you pay $200.00 a night for a room is it too much to think that you might have real glasses instead of cardboard?! We went to the restaurant for dinner. There was a Asian tour group finishing dining so we were patient. It took a long time just to have our order taken. Finally, there were just 4 tables... More
