One of the few Hampton Inns I have seen with a restaurant and gift shop. Service at supper was excellent! Food was very good. On a bad note. I was subjected to Fox News at Breakfast. Guests should not be subjected to have to watch this. I suggest a more neutral program in the breakfast area.

Love staying on my trips from Colorado to phoenix. The place is clean and the restaurant has excellent food. Like the area for it view of monument valley. It is a great half way stop for me. Has a cute little gift also.

This has got to be one of the best Hampton Inn hotels in America! The front desk was really busy when we arrived, but the desk host was a superb multi-tasker and was so cheerful and friendly. The rooms are excellent, fantastic bedding and bath linens. We ate dinner st the hotel restaurant and the food was fabulous. The servers... More

We stopped by for a night on our drive from Aspen back to LA and found this hotel to be a real gem in the middle of the desert. A dust storm was blowing up as we got in. Our King room (326) was on the third floor overlooking the carpark and nearby shopping centre, Burger King and McDonalds. The... More

The management of this property clearly understands what visitors to the Navajo Tribal Lands want to see and experience. All of the artwork in this hotel, including the room number signs, tell guests that they are in the beautiful region of the earth near Monument Valley. The friendly, helpful staff all dress in Navajo attire. We travel with our dog,... More

Motel rooms very clean and staff friendly . Breakfast was good. Motel has a restaurant facility which we dined at. Food good. There is also a gift shop. If there is a downside, we tended to smell food all night in our room as we were close to restaurant. The coffee smelled good in the morning.

Not your run of the mill chain. The grand daughter of the original hotel and trading post establishment is one of the co-owners, and the attention to detail is great. A real restaurant that serves excellent food based on Navajo culture that was open and serving when we came in at dark (winter hours) very tired and hungry was welcome... More

We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Kayenta for 1-night in late Jan ($94). It is a modern hotel on the main highway from Tuba City; there is an outdoor, but it was empty for the winter. Our room was large, with a king bed and the standard furnishings; it was decorated with a few Navajo highlights. Accessories included a... More

we have traveled co to az for over 40 years and never spent the night in Kayenta. We decided to try it this trip and were pleasantly surprised. My 90 year old mother wanted to stay longer!! The lobby and dining area was so peaceful and inviting we lingered as long as we could after breakfast. The room had everything... More

I travel a lot for my job and have stayed at many Hampton Inns. This one is only average and needs some room updates. The staff was nice and the food was OK but some dishes were over priced. There is no alcohol allowed as it is on a reservation.
