Wow! What a nice surprise in the middle of beautiful country but also the middle of no where. This was the nicest hotel we stayed at that allowed pets on our two week road trip in the American Southwest. Very clean, extremely competent and friendly outgoing staff. Great beds with really nice bedding, restaurant was comfortable and food was good.... more

Very nice hotel, very friendly staff and rooms well furnished. Although there a few chains in Kayenta you couldn't go past this one. Comlimentary Breakfast was adequate and well presented. Lots of outdoor seating if you prefer the fresh air. Not much to do in Kayenta except as a base for Monument Valley. This hotel is worth giving a try. more

Considering that you really are in a very remote area this Inn had very good accommodations. It was very clean and the staff friendly. We had dinner in the lounge which was very good. The complimentary breakfast was better that the usual you get at some of the other chain establishments. I would also ask for the top floor as... more

Stayed here recently. Had the usual fine accomodations you would expect from Hampton Inn. In addition, they offer a restaurant with dinner service and a full gift shop. Remember, this isn't Manhattan so dining options in this region are very few. Restaurant offered a choice of an all you can eat buffet or you could order from the menu. Our... more

Lot's of small problems. 1) The pool has a keyed lock on both sides and a flippy on the outside. If you are in the inside you must do the key lock and reach over to release the flippy lock. I had to help a couple of older women get out. If you are short or disabled, you will be... more

I was happily surprised by how nice this place is. I'm driving cross-country and stopped in Kayenta for somewhere to sleep before seeing Monument Valley the next day. The rooms are very spacious and nice, I have a couch and table in mine. The restaurant was pretty decent, and has a pretty seating area. They do have room service. I... more

We stayed at this Inn for one night during a recent fly drive vacation due to the proximity to Monument Valley. The hotel was very clean and modern. They had made an effect to decorate the lobby and rooms in Navajo style which made it different from what you would normally expect. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient.... more

We were very pleased with this hotel and it lived up to its reviews. Rooms were very large and nice and so comfortable. Very good breakfast. We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was pretty good. The setting was very pretty. There is not much in the area for places to eat or things to do other... more

We found the Hampton Inn in Kayenta to be clean and comfortable and is one of the most convenient hotels available for Monument Valley. Staff were friendly and there was a genuine attempt to break out of standard chain motel anonymity and reflect the local Navajo culture, in terms of decor, food and the in-house store. Two points to note.... more

In May 2009, my husband and I stayed in Kayenta at the Hampton Inn. It is a step above the ordinary in terms of a chain hotel. We are frequent visitors to the Hampton Inn chain and found this property to be unique. It is in a wonderful location; near Monument Valley. The price reflects the interesting decor and style... more
