Stay at the Hampton Inn. Do not stay here. Room is expensive at $200 plus tax for a dive hotel. No breakfast included with room rate. Rooms are very dated. Our room smelled so musty we had to go buy febreze to kill the smell. Very limited TV channels. No CBS! Really??? Plan ahead as motel rooms are scarce. Even... More

If you are traveling to or from Monument Valley, try to avoid Kayenta Monument Valley Inn in Kayenta, AZ. This motel is comparable to a Days Inn with even less amenities. We paid $239 for a room with two double beds, no breakfast, no microwave or refrigerator. That was after we were credited $30 for complaining about all the things... More

Stayed there to visit Monument Valley because of the location. The cost was high for what was a standard motel and add the local taxes and I would say very poor value for money. I would guess they think they can charge it because there isn't much competition so my recommedation would be try and work it so you just... More

Exorbitant price for what is really a slightly upgraded Travel Lodge style property. Wifi never worked. Peeling wallpaper and a large patched spot in the bathroom ceiling which had not even been painted to try and match the rest of the ceiling. Entry door to the room stuck so badly that I literally had to hit it with my shoulder... More

This place is very expensive for what you get. We could not get in to the Monument Valley View Hotel (book there at least 6 months out) and felt lucky to get a room here. The room was average but clean. The toilet was coming loose from the wall and the desk clerk did not seem to care to pass... More

Just because there is a limited choice in Kayenta and I stayed here because the View Hotel Was fully booked. First the ladies at the reception have such an attitude that seems like their life stinks. They tell you thinks with "wise-guy" kind of way, and seems like they are making you a favor. The rooms are ok, they look... More

This was the only hotel available anywhere NEAR Monument Valley. With tax the room ended up costing us over $260 for a very basic hotel room more comparable to a Super 8. Breakfast is not included & would cost us another $10 PER PERSON. Luckily there is a McDonalds close by. Very noisy in the early morning hours.

Kayenta is near the incredible Monument Valley, but Kayenta is "out there." There is a very limited choice of lodging here. This inn is a good place to stay, but unremarkable. It is very clean and well kept. Towels are small. My biggest complaint is the high price, but considering its remoteness, I guess that is expected.

Do not try to check in early as even if a room is available you will be told check in is 3pm with a sour face! We stayed here because The View was booked out and there is very little choice this close to Monument Valley however I would of driven to Tuba City if I knew what this place... More
