Unless you want to stay at the only hotel within Monumant Valley, Kayenta MV Inn is a great choice. Just off the highway and next to gas, supermarket & McDonalds...so all basic needs sorted! It's a spread out layout but rooms were big, clean and comfortable and sound proofed. Leave your luggage in your car until you have checked in... More

A friend and I spent one night in Kayenta Monument Valley Inn during our visit to Monument Valley. We would have preferred staying closer to the Valley, preferably at the View Hotel which was fully booked - it seems that you would have to book at least 6 months in advance. Kayenta Monument Valley in is nevertheless a good alternative.... More

If you are planning a trip to Monument Valley, book as far ahead as possible. Selected this motel one month away from the travel dates, because it was all that was available. It was ok. No breakfast or fridge/micro wave is in the room. Wifi was weak. We packed in our breakfast food and beverages. Had dinner in the restaurant... More

Stayed here for 2 nights for planned trip Monument Valley. Found the staff, food etc to be quite acceptable throughout. The Inn has it's own small gift shop & Kayenta itself has a few other shops including a post office - not always that easy to locate! Managed to park our car right by our room door as we were... This inn in Kayenta is about 20 miles from the entry of the Monument Valley Park.Is one of the few good places where you can stay overnight when you want to visit Monument Valley. It is clean, good service a little bit pricey, but considering that in the area you don't have many choices you have to do with what... More

Didn't stay in the hotel so can't comment on it. We did however eat dinner in the restaurant. It is a simple dining room with a straight ahead menu. Not serving alcohol is not a problem with us as we do not drink. The staff is very polite and quite reserved but efficient and attentive. The food is good but... More

Check in was unsmiling and perfunctory. A very large king-sized room which was totally unnecessary. Would have been happy with half the space (at half the cost). $179 for one night (weekday) - before adding on 20% tax, of which everyone seems to get their cut. Breakfast is another $10pp (presumably before tax) on top. No fridge or microwave in... More

I agree with other comments, staff are brusque. No eye contact or greeting when checking in, which would have been nice. Also the amount of additional taxes not made clear at check in. Otherwise comfortable room. We ate at Amigos which was friendly and okay food but lacking flavour/spice.

Clean, quiet, good-sized rooms, great WIFI. Would definitely stay here again. Restaurant is pleasant, but food is average. Note: alcohol is prohibited in the territory of the Navejo reservation, where this hotel is located.

We had to stay at this hotel in a recent road trip we took through Monument Valley. This is the closet hotel to Monument Valley. I think I would have given it a better review if we didn't HAVE to spend $124 for a non season during the week night. By the time we got there (7pm) they had closed... More
