Tried for rooms in Tuba City but wouldn't take the dog. He's still hurt! Driving north and out of the darkness jumps the Anasazi Inn and after 12 hrs touring, it worked for us. It is a room in what I guess is in former camp accommodation. Old TV took 2 hrs to figure out, cracked lino (freezing cold), old... More

Every other hotel was booked so we had no choice but to stay here. If this room had cost $40 then I could have at least brushed it off that it was a cheap room. But, I paid $107 for this gem and was the worst place I have ever stayed at. The room we stayed at was located down... More

On our way from Bryce National Park to the Grand Canyon. It is several miles south of the turn-off for the Canyon. We were delighted to find the Anasazi Inn. It had a small convenience store and gas station in front with a very helpful staff. The motel units were in back, away from the main road. Other guests were... More

My family and I stayed here because it was the closest we could get to Monument Valley (everything else was booked). We were really nervous when we pulled up because it looks like we were sleeping in barracks but it wasn't as bad as we thought it would be. It wasn't necessarily the cleanest place and the water pressure in... More

When we drove up my first thoughts were 'oh my God' We were pleasantly surprised! We made ourselves a cocktail and settled in to watch the sunset on a sandstone picnic table as we greeted weary travelers. The diner had hardy food and breakfast was yummy. If you are so spilled in life that you can't find charm in a... More

rooms were clean and beds comfortable, staff was friendly and they sent person to deal with issue we had w/toilet. Evidently the trick was to hold the handle down for a long time. If you are looking for the chain hotel experience then this motel is not for you. Want to crash for a night and meet interesting people then... More

The Anasazi Inn looks pretty sketchy, but it is not as bad as it looks. My sister and I stayed here as a last resort, as the other 3 motels in Kayenta were full. (This was the middle of summer). Our door locked, the air conditioning worked, and we managed to jimmy the toilet to working condition. WE CHECKED all... More

I stayed in a trailer at the Anasazi for 3 months during a nursing contract in Kayenta, AZ. The staff was terrific, always helpful. Maintenance worker was always on top of problems. The trailer I stayed in was a two bedroom and included washer and dryer. The place was clean and there were no bugs. It gets 3 out of... More

I first stopped at the Hampton. It was full (of tour bus groups). They sent me across the street to the Kayenta Inn, where, after tax, they wanted over $200 for a single. It too was packed with tour groups, largely people from abroad, who I imagine were willing to pay whatever. The clerk there sent me the 10 miles... More

As we couldn't find accommodation in Kayenta, we stopped for one night at the Anasazi Inn. At reception, we were made to feel unwelcome and that we were an inconvenience. Although the accommodation is clean and tidy, it is well over-priced. The restaurant reflects the fact that they have a "captured market", but it filled a gap. All in all...not... More
