Dolphins Playground has it all. Beautiful rooms, all in white, soft fabrics, wonderful beds, a stunning terrace with a view over the beach, breakfasts to die for, a reliable wifi, staff that truly care for your wellbeing, and best of all, Pam, the perfect B&B host. Pam takes pride in making sure every guest is cared for, informed and entertained.... More

Thank you for an exceptionally nice review, it is appreciated more than words can say. I really enjoyed having you both - a wonderful couple, whom it is a great pleasure to have met. Kind regards, Pam More

We stayed with Pam at the dolphin's playground back in 2012 and it will forever leave us with happy memories. The rooms are warm, clean and inviting, the breakfast is delicious, but most of all we were struck by Pam's hospitality. She might be the nicest host we have ever crossed paths with and are forever grateful for her hiking... More

We stayed overnight in the Whale Room. We were met by the owner and gracious host, Pam. She went out of her way to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. The room was well appointed and very clean. There is attention to detail and a lot of thought has been put in, to make the guest very comfortable. Our breakfast... More

Unfortunately we were only able to stay one night but would highly recommend Dolphins' Playground for a short or long stay. The situation overlooking the beach is perfect and Pam is a very gracious and helpful host. We stayed in the Seahorse suite which was spacious and very well fitted out. The breakfast was beautifully presented and tasty. All that... More

My daughter and I had the pleasure of staying at this guesthouse for two nights. From the stunning wooden deck overlooking the sea, to the lovely rooms with every possible item one may need (or may have forgotten to bring along!), to the owner presenting great suggestions to make our holiday even better, we had a wondeful break in Plettenberg Bay.... We stayed in Dolphins Playground some twelve years ago and loved it so decided to visit again. What a great decision! It is still run by the same brilliant owner, Pam, with the help of two lovely staff, Patience and Funeka. After all this time Pam is still just as enthusiastic and helpful as ever and is a mine of... Visiting Plettenberg Bay the third time it was our first stay at Dolphins playground (as our previous guesthouse went out of business) and we will return for sure. The host Pam gave us a very warm welcome and showed us our room (Whale) which offers 2 big windows with a view to the ocean and the patio. All rooms are... More

We spent a four night stay at Dolphins Playground and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Pam is the most considerate and accommodating host who really does go the extra mile. The house is in a quite part of Plettenberg Bay but close to the very best part of Robberg beach. After a delicious cooked breakfast in the morning we would... More

My wife and I stayed at this B&B for 5 nights in April 2015. Pam Meara is a wonderful host who is attentive to guests needs while maintaining an appropriate distance which ensures you feel free to come and go as you wish. She gave us a key and we always felt comfortable coming and going at any time. The... More

Dolphins Playground is a three or four room B&B situated just off the beach. There is a common patio/deck which has a spectacular sunrise view. Shirley, the maitre'de was helpful in making dinner reservations. Unfortunately all restaurants so must be driven to so one member of the party must manage their wine intake! All of the rooms require climbing a... More
