This was our second stay at the Singing Kettle. We stayed for four nights in rooms 2 and 3, and in rooms 3 and 4 during our previous stay. Welcoming Griffith stocks the fridge every day with milk, juice and yoghurt and the cupboard with muesli, tea (ceylon and rooibos) and coffee (filter, instant, decaf). There is a generously stocked... More

We were welcomed by Bertha and felt welcome right away! We had room 5 with an amazing view and we stayed here for three nights! We wished we could have stayed longer because of al the amazing scenery and things to do in the Area. Be sure to dine at Enricos which is below the lodge! It is truly fantastic!

I wish I could have stayed longer... Friendly staff, beautifully designed rooms, stunning view, simple but tasty breakfast. What more do you need on a stop over exploring the Garden Route. It's a little further out of town, but totally worth it to get off the usual tourist trail. Only takes about 10min to drive into town if you want... More

Stayed for one week. Twin room, kitchenette, bathroom with shower only. Lovely seafront balcony. Lots of positives, only down side is if you are looking for peace and quiet this might not be the place. Lively and popular restaurant underneath, with live music every day. Might be different in off season though. For us it was great being in the... More

We had a great time at the Singing Kettle Lodge. The place is well-designed and the host was very nice and welcoming. The lodge is on an amazing beach and the view from the balcony is absoulutely amazing. The staff thought about averything needed and there was a beach bag waiting for us with towels and chairs. Big recommendation!

The Singing Kettle is a fantastic location right on the sea front and above Enrico's restaurant, which is a must if you're staying near this location. The Singing Kettle is very clean, well furbished and is of a high standard for this end of the market. With most rooms having a sea view and their own balcony, the views are... More

The title says it all! The room was so comfortable with gorgeous balcony overlooking sea ( saw passing school of dolphins) The owner apologized for not providing breakfast but in the room was a basket of tropical fruit and yogurt and fruit juice in the fridge and plenty of tea and coffee...Thorougly recommend enrico's below for food..

We stayed here for two nights and we had a lovely experience. Located right on the beach the views could not be better. Little bit away from the main town but the restaurant on the ground floor is great and good value for money.

This small hotel is ideally situated between Plett and PE for overnight. The sea is close up and there is a restaurant below. Safe parking and friendly staff. The room was well appointed with fruit and milk for breakfast in the fridge. It is a self catering option. The furnishings tasteful. We got warned too late that there might be... More
