Can't wait for March to come......and our 4th trip to Kurland. We miss the people and this amazing place the minute we leave. Can't praise it enough.....It is a heavenly spot! Chef's food is delicious...and always accommodating any request not in the menu. Dinner al fresco in front of the fireplace. Romantic and much more!!!!!

An amazing hotel. Old colonial style with a superb atmosphere. Large characterful rooms; having a lit fire when returning from dinner was a great touch. The motorbikes are complimentary to use and great for seeing the grounds, including the polo pavilion which is a must see. The dinner room has superb service, breakfast especially good. Dinner was enjoyable; food if... More

Beautiful location, quiet, top quality food, top personal service, fantastic treatments, incredible individually styled cottages. A polo resort of the highest order. Manager is very flexible in the off season.

The enormous rooms are very comfortable with a huge verandah of views looking out at the horses in the fields. The bathroom was the biggest I have ever been in, but was fully equipped, with everything you could possibly want. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was very welcome as well. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, except for... More

Kurlands is impressive and the accommodation is of a very high quality and the decor is stunning. On a cold night the road noise of N2 can be heard. The service is great and the breakfasts are beautiful. Wine list and dinner choices are expensive, but complete.

But!!!! We arrived for one night - our room wasn't heated, we froze- no directory so we couldn't phone to ask for heating. It was quite late . The kids play room with dirty toys, a soiled diaper in the bin which must have been there for ages We chose this place bearing the kids in mind... This should NOT... More

We stayed at Kurland in August 2013, and it was a fantastic experience to say the least. We stayed for 5 nights, but frankly I could have stayed for 2 weeks. The rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated and luxurious. The grounds were very clean (there were literally a million leaves to pick up each day) and the staff were friendly... More

From the crackling fire awaiting us upon an arrival in the dark, the room was the perfect romantic interlude on a cross country trip. Well appointed with immaculate attention to detail. Rambling and nostalgic is unusually accompanied with cleanliness and charming service

I was blown away by this unbelievably beautiful hotel set in acres of greenery. We arrived around 8.30pm and shown to our room in the grounds in our car following a man on a quad bike. We were in Paddock 5 which had an upstart bedroom for my 3 children. When they opened the door to our room, we all... More

Arriving at kurland is a bit like stepping back to colonial times. It's the long driveway, the verandas and beautiful rose gardens and the smattering of English old duffers in their yellow shorts and pink knee length socks that sets the scene. You couldn't want for a more beautiful setting in this large estate and the suites are just huge.... More
