Last week I finally got to make use of my Birthday Voucher, which was a FULL DAY at the Spa including lunch. I also decided to treat my Mother for her birthday and invited her to join me for the lunch and a manicure. I must say that my day of pampering was fabulous with Natasha and my Mother also... More

Arrived for lunch - explained to receptionist via intercom at the gate that this is what we had come for. Reach the hotel - no one in sight; tried several times to call 'for assistance' on internal phone - no response. Finally, with no apology a waiter arrived and told us that lunch was not possible as 'the chef was... More

We stayed here for two nights and unfortunately did not enjoy it at all. Firstly, the pool was out of order for the whole duration of our stay and had algae growing in it. When we complained the first time they said it was a 'natural pool' and then when we spoke to the manager the day after he said... More

If you want to feel guilty, stay in a 5 star hotel where there are only 2 other guests...who dont even stay for dinner... Or you could simply luxuriate in personal service and having all the facilities to yourselves! OK so it is simply not acceptable that the pool was unusable, but forget that. This is one of the most... More

I stayed here recently with my daughter. We had spent a hectic New Year in Capetown, followed by several stays in other properties along the wine and garden routes so we arrived at this wonderful hotel exhausted and in need of r and r. We were greeted on our arrival by Kyle the general manager, together with a couple of... More

An outstanding quiet position, with a view to die for. Only a handful of rooms, all super spacious and most have the outstanding sea view. Staff are all lovely and do their absolute best to make you feel at home. Although effort is great, results are poor. Food when it arrived was sometimes perfect, sometimes average, general service was very... More

One of the truest boutique hotels you'll find in a sea of others that by could never live up to this experience. With only 10 rooms, the Plettenberg Park Hotel makes you feel like this very special place is your home as well as theirs. The property itself is gorgeous and secluded - high up on the rocks with the... More

This hotel is exceptional, the service, the rooms, the location, the food especially the breakfast, the staff. I couldn't recommend this place any more. We stayed three nights, it is on the expensive side compared to the other hotels we stayed in in S.A. but it is far superior than the other hotels so the price is justified. If this... More

As a treat for my spouses’ birthday I booked a large suite at the Plettenberg Park Hotel & Spa in Plettenberg Bay for the weekend, besides the most fantastic sea views, a natural tidal pool, and very friendly service staff, I honestly cannot see why anyone would get excited, return, or recommend this Hotel. The dinner we had on the... More

My husband and I spent 5 nights at this hotel for our honeymoon. The location is perfect. Secluded yet not too far from town. Peaceful and quite not only for the honeymooning couple but for anyone wanting a little getaway. The hotel has a cool, relaxing beach feel. You can even catch the whales from the comfort of your own... More
