This was our 3rd Visit to puma and as always it was the highlight of our trip. Rooms are luxuriously spacious with superb bathrooms, and private decks with your own plunge pool and outside shower. The staff are all so friendly and helpful, I always go for a spa treatment whilst there. This year Amanda gave me a fantastic back neck... More

Pumba is situated in a huge area with a main hotel area and separate lodges a short walk away (in daylight !). For our visit everything was included and the service by the staff was excellent and attention to detail was superb. The game drives were well organized and conducted with knowledgeable rangers and a halfway break with snacks/drinks etc.... More

My wife and I and another couple were in Pumba in late january. Truly a magical experience. Morning safaris, afternoon safaris with exceptional Rangers and guides. Rooms were spacious and provided an authentic experience. Food was excellent. Staff were helpful and very friendly. In short, if you're planning a photo safari, this is the place to come.

We had an amazing few days, food wine and everything else was excellent, we preferred the bush lodge as it seemed more African. The game drives were great fun as well as great for viewing the animals and our ranger Thomas was very knowledgeable and good fun as well, we will be back.

Excellent accommodation, magical safari drives with Thomas, a very knowledgeable guide. Obliging staff and excellent food. Highly recommended. This was our second visit. Wifi available in lounge and dining area only, not in your room.

What an amazing experience for our first family safari! The accommodation was top notch (though the pools were a bit cloudy) Stem was an amazing ranger and worked hard to track down the elusive leopard on our last game drive so that we'd seen the big 5. Some of the encounters were really up close and personal, from the elephant... More

We recently spent three nights at this amazing place. We arrived at 16.15 having driven from Knysna and then experienced the long bumpy track to Reception. We were warmly greeted and offered cold flannels and a delicious lychee cocktail. Our car keys were taken from us, we were told our bags would be put in our lodge and we then... More
