My overnight stay was very comfortable and warm. Warm because it was very cold outside. The hut provides everything one needs, even if one had to stay a few extra days. Breakfast was warm and filling.

Stayed here for one night whilst travelling on business between East London and PE, would love to return with the family one day. The owner greeted me on arrival and could not have been more helpful. The accommodation in set a short drive off the N2, but you feel as though you are out in the country. Grahanstown is no... More

Booked well in advance for two specific rooms only told on arrival that rooms were taken. Very disappointed. Rooms definitely need renovation. Host was lovely. Breakfast was very great. Location was nice and quiet.

A Stone's Throw bed and breakfast is the perfect place for a peaceful relaxing retreat. Suzanne and her staff made every effort to make it comfortable and we settled in perfectly for a few nights stay. Truly a haven

This was a first for me - a B & B that does not serve breakfast unless you cough up another R50. A nice clean room but the whole experience was spoilt by not being told that breakfast was not included.

Spent one night at A Stone's Throw in a charming and romantic little cottage, with the most beautiful view of nature! Close enough to Grahamstown, yet out in the country - it was the perfect overnight stay to fetch my son from Rhodes

We arrived tired after a long drive through the Baviaanskloof. Suzanne immediately made us feel welcome and settled us into a delightful timber A-frame. With an en-suite bedroom downstairs and a 2 bed loft room above, a family of 4 can be comfortably accommodated. The kitchen/lounge/dining area has all you need to prepare your meals. If you're not in the... More

Wonderful setting and very friendly. The service was outstanding and to sit on the veranda with a bottle of wine and enjoy the view was breathtaking. I would love to stay again if I am in Grahamstown and would strongly recommend A Stone's Throw to anyone who is visiting the area.

The resort is outside Grahamstown, but in very easy driving distance, yet far enough to enjoy the rural surrounds. The bungalows are well equiped although the beds are a bit hard. The breakfast provided on request is substantial.
