Very conveniently situated for an overnight stop. For a dog-friendly establishment (by prior arrangement) the accommodation was measurably superior to other offerings we experienced en route from Durban to Cape Town and back. The manageress, Gale, was welcoming and friendly with nothing being too much trouble. Basic but tasty breakfast to see us on our way. Highly recommended.

The staff were polite and helpful. Swimming pool was clean and sparkly, could do with some deck chairs to laze on. Parking was in a garage, undercover with direct access to rooms. Room was clean, tidy and prepared on time. T.V's could do with an upgrade to flat screens. Wifi worked at the pool but didn't reach the room we... More

We stayed in Unit 7, and it was clean and very well equipped. The linen was fresh and attention to detail showed. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good - probably a 7/10. The pool area is well maintained. It is a Very nice place overall. The Only issue we had was that the wifi signal strength is... More

We stayed one night on a business visit to East London and we found this guest house in a very safe area on Bunkers Hill. The rooms are cozy and with everything you need. One of our rooms had an unusual entrance to the ensuite bathroom that goes through the wardrobe but that was fine. Very good price-quality ratio. I... More

Stayed at this guesthouse while on business in East London. At first I was in Room 9 which is huge and was rather cold. Aircon not functioning. However, Gail managed to move me to Room 1 which was much better. A well kept garden and a lovely room. My meals at night were plentiful and savoury. However, parking is a... More

Gail you have a good facility, but you must learn to be welcoming, to treat your customers with respect and your rules must apply to all irrespective of race. My money has the same value as you foreign visitors.

The guesthouse has good facilities everything you would expect and a cheaper than average rate, however the establishment is on a busy road. The proprietor had no knowledge of my booking that was made prior to check in. The reception was rood and unwelcome. Parking can be a hassle. Upon my stay it was crowded with guests (friends). Serving a... More

It is a nice place to stay. Gail is very relaxed and in your room there is enough information where to eat. Room is big with separate kitchen and twin ! bathroom. Beds are good! Car can be stalled inside so no worries about burgling. We had dinner in Neo cafe, nothing fancy but ok for a bite to eat.

Nicely furnished rooms with all the basics covered including an honesty bar with washing facilities, pool and a variety of Take away option close by. Breakfast offers a variety of cereals, yoghurt, juice, tea, coffee and an English breakfast for a very reasonable price.

We stayed at this delightful guesthouse overnight on our way to the Garden Route, and having stayed in quite a few B&Bs it was nice to find one that is doing everything right! The rooms a very clean with high quality fittings, a good fridge and complimentary tea/coffee. The WiFi works well and the pool/garden were clean and well kept.... More
