First experience sitting high on a 4x4. Driving trough the bush to view a big Nile Monitor, Turtle, zebra , ostrich, and the feeding of lions. After visiting other game reserves in South Africa it's clear to me that we've payed here too much for what they offer.

Great accommodation, food is always of a good standard and our Ranger saved the day, literally! Animals are all healthy and free, one can see they are well looked after, our Ranger Brandon had in-depth knowledge of all game on the property and provided us with useful information about wild life and the reserve. It was an amazing experience waking... More

My family and I visit the Eastern Cape every year and every year we book for giant hamburgers on a Wednesday night. They are really tasty and real good value for money. Over the last year or two the quality had dropped but this year there was a definite step up in the burgers. They are well worth it again.... More

We were off a cruise ship and this was an option for us to see some wildlife. The pride of White Lions was a highlight. We learned a lot about the conservation efforts to protect the rhinos. Our guide was very knowledgeable and made the trip

The Game drive was good and our guide very keen and knowledgeable. The drive was a little rushed as it was only 2.5 hours. As it is a very big reserve and the roads are washed out another half hour would have been an improvement, great variety of species and the white line was a special thrill. The Buffet Sunday... This was just a day visit as part of a group Coach Tour - But right from the start we wee made to feel most welcome - Craig was our driver and shared a lot of experience with us. And we had hardly set off from the main entrance when we encountered Giraffes right by the track. But the highlight... More

The unique feature of this Nature reserve is the interaction with elephants and close proximity to cheetahs and lions. It is recommended for active visitors. You will be kept busy with game drives and excellent meals.

We did not stay here, but we did a tour of the elephant rehabilitation center. It was very interesting as the guides explained the parts of the elephant, allowed you to feed and touch them, and explained the controversy of the elephants destroying the land. It was a fraction of the cost of the elephant excursion offered through Addo Elephant... More
