Very nice hotel BUT standard have gone done since it went to easyHotel you have to pay for cleaning service why not incl it with the rate. I had to extend as my plans in Johannesburg changed and was told my room wont be cleaned as I have to book a day before even tho I was going to pay... More

Extremely well priced rooms that are spartan but clean and have everything a budget traveller needs including international power adapters. Well located on De Korte Street in Braamfontein across the road from the Branson centre and with a bar underneath that opens up to a courtyard of three other restaurants. The markets are also a two minute walk as are... More

Rooms are OK (nothing special), with minimal space, but modern and well-designed. The location is good as it is in the city centre, but the staff cannot give any information on things to do (e.g. I was looking for a gym). Besides, the music from the club downstairs is extremely disturbing. Internet (which you pay for) does not work in... More

It is really affordable and at a great location. 10 minutes walking to the Park Station, where you can get the Gautrain. It is also very close to Nelson Mandela Bridge and Wits University. Very simple, however modern, good and extremely affordable. If you need wi-fi, room service, printing something, you will have to pay extra, however it is still... More

Spent 4 nights here with a group of 21 attending a conference nearby. Hotel in great central location, rooms were really great - basic, but bright, spacious, clean. Staff were really friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant/bar was great. Only downsides were a very noisy bathroom fan, and no wifi in the rooms. The wifi in the... More

I loved my stay at the Easy Hotel as it is now called. However one must be advised that the rooms are generally suitable for one person. All rooms are standard with a full-size bed which could not really accommodate two people and the main issue would be that the bathroom does not have a door on it. For one... More

We've stayed at Easy hotel quite a few times. We loved the room and the people at reception are friendly. We understand that it's cheap accommodation but some of the basics services that you'd get at normal hotels (such as being able to call reception from your room, good wifi connectivity, having your room cleaned free of charge) are missed... Great hotel, well located and easy to access from using public transport or the roads. Rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious. Bathroom not great for people sharing (very open). Conference package is great, with sumptuous meals in the Lamunu restaurant. Also well placed for walks to other restaurants and coffee shops. Great vibe on Saturdays especially.

We stayed in the hotel for one night. The location is great, right in the heart of buzzing Braamfontein. Unfortunately, the facilities of the hotel are not so great (extractor fan in the bathroom extremely loud and can't be switched off, no bathroom door, no phone to call reception, no wifi access in the rooms). We could have lived with... More

Previously "Lamunu Hotel" this city centre hotel right next to the trendy Neighbourgoods Market, Juta Street exstablishments, Puma Social Club & great independant coffee houses offers excellent value for money. At only around £35 per night with free underground parking this comfortable and safe hotel is our favourite when visiting Joburg. The rooms are clean and tidy with modern decor.... More
